Saturday morning/kids show nostalgia thread.......

Alright, I've been thinking of whats currently on the TV for kids (Disney channel, Nick, etc.) and frankly, its not what it used to be. Especially Saturday morning cartoons.

I know for me, it was an event to wake up at 7:00am with a bowl of cereal and sit down in front of the tv, ready to watch cartoons until 1:00pm on a Saturday morning. I got to thinking of all the cartoons, kids shows, etc. that were shown on Saturday mornings; there were a lot!

So, I've made this thread to be a fun thread. Share your favorite cartoon or kids show you enjoyed when you were a kid. It could be from Saturday morning or just any kid show you remember. Even the ones that nobody remembers! :lol: Enjoy!!!!

Not at all!

Last week we had the kids at the library and there was a DVD of Saturday morning cartoons and my daughter was decidedly uninterested in getting it but my husband spotted it and we took it home for us! It had Space Ghost, Quick Draw McGraw, Peter Potamus...etc. It was great!

It wasn't Saturday morning without ______-Wee's Playhouse, Muppet Babies, and Gummi Bears for me. I often wonder what my kids will one day watch. Shows really don't have that feel to them anymore. It's all live action shows now.

That was my first favorite TV show. I was obsessed with it! I still love it...and bought both the first and second seasons from iTunes.

I also used to love TGIF on ABC. Family Matters, Full House, Perfect Strangers....ah, that was some good tv...:lol:
