Who can view the SAT scores on collegeboard.com
I have tried for over an hour.. seams like the entire nation is looking at their scores from 2 weeks ago...

I got mine on the day they released them on the internet. Ofcourse that was early on in the morning. What was your score once you find it?

I got a nine-hundred-something the third and last time I took the SAT. I got progressively worse. The SAT is bull anyhow.

I enjoyed my SAT experiences, lol. I thought it was a fun challenge, and always wanted to better my scores and beat my friends. I took them 3 times, and had tutors and review sessions, which I didn't mind attending.

But I do remember HATING to wait for the grades.

I've always pondered the thought of taking the SAT as I'm going to a school in FL (and most east coast schools likes having the SAT's). I took the ACT twice and got a whole ONE number higher the second time, of course it was onyl two weeks later and never studied, but oh well. I'd love to take it again to see what I would get on it now, same with the SAT just to see how well I would do on it.

What's the highest you can get on the SAT, because I remember taking a pre-test for it and it said I would get like a 1500 on it or something like that, maybe it was a 1200. :veryconfu

This year (till feb) the max score is a 1600. Starting in March it will be 2400 when the unvail the new test. As for my score, I got a 1300.

What do you mean,with the prep classes...im confused...

I was thinking it was either 1600 or 1800. So I was right in what I thought, and I believe what I was to get had I taken it was a 1500. Thanks for the clarification on that!

Some Community Colleges offer their own placement tests that allow you to bypass those horribly elementary prep classes. The CC I am trying to get a job at (once I finish my masters) does, so I would assume others do as well.

I remember my SAT... it was the morning after the Homecoming Football game and the morning of the Homecoming dance.

I scored a 1330...

mine was the morning of the first marching competition...as son as i got out... i booked for the band room and got on the bus.. a record of 2 min....

remember, when SAT's seemed so important? When you get INTO a particular school, no one seems to give a darn about that stupid test score. It was like: what did I do all that work for?

As for me...I took them three times and got progressively better.

Best score: 690 Verbal, 700 Math. Combined Score: 1390

Personally, I'm predicting that our very own SirNim will set the curve on the verbal section when he takes them.

I came close . My best score on the verbal section was 790. Got a 590 in math, though.
