I have to agree with you.

It is hard to get excited about any new shows because they all seem to be rehashes.

Why don't they spend more time showing off the resorts?

Samantha Brown was tweeting while filming the special, and it sounds like there was a fair amount of filming. She started out in Germany (I think it was Germany) during construction of the Disney Dream, and was later spotted for quite awhile in Epcot.

I'm hopeful this will be an entirely new special...I'm sick of seeing the old Travel Channel specials, that taunt me with a functioning Yeti :animwink:

Agreed, however the dude who hosted the Christmas Special on HGTV was absolutely awful. I think his main purpose was just to make sure that EVERYONE he spoke with in Disney World knew he did not like girls. I could care less who or what he is into but the special was about Disney...not you flaunting all over the place.

That idiot there. Colleen and I wanted to watch it on mute.

Like I said, if it's an entire hour, of Samantha Brown going around WDW, I'll be pretty excited to see a new special. But if they follow the recent pattern of switching back and forth between DisneyLand, Disney Cruise Line, DVC, or any combination of the above, I probably won't even finish watching it.

I would love for her to do the Great Hotels again, those were my favorites.

I can't wait! I love Samantha Brown shows about WDW. She is just so enthusiastic about it and seems to truly be a fan.

I loved when she did Great Hotels and would also be so excited if she did more of these. I used to have the old ones taped on a dvd but I can't find it.

Out of the blue the other day, my 4 1/2 year old son said "you like the flush of a toilet. I understand!". That is from the Wilderness Lodge episode of "Great Hotels", and apparently I've watched it so many times that my boy has memorized some of the lines. :ROFLOL:

There was some filming going on in front of the Magic Kingdom this afternoon. It looked like a larger film crew and a set-up for some talent. Didn't stick around long enough to see exactly what it was - but could be related . . . or just filming for some other promo.
