Like I have been saying, it has to have air to function. The design being demonstrated today uses air for propulsion but not launch.

When people are referring to 'air' generally, they mean air you can breathe and survive in. The system you are discussing is not using air at a breathable or survivable level. It is much easier (and more accurate) to say it is a vacuum than air.

Little high and mighty aren't we? Seems you think you know everything, so explain to us how using air for propulsion is not a pneumatic/pneumatic like system?

It was a joke. Lighten up.

It is not pneumatic as some were suggesting. The system could work outside the tube. It would just move much slower due to not being in a partial vacuum.

When will they learn? Disney has always been cutting edge, why would that change now?

They may have been cutting edge for the sake of being cutting edge in the past, but not anymore. Today they are doing things unless there is a financially sound reason to do it. For the type of transportation Disney needs this doesn't provide any advantages over other forms of transportation.

Those things are still behind closed doors but will be revealed soon. See Pandora for starters.

No, thats not how it works. You said 'always'. There should be many things you can list.

Nothing in Pandora is cutting edge. Evolutionary, MAYBE. But not cutting edge.

There will be things in Pandora that have never been seen before. Put whatever name you want on it. Most would call that cutting edge.

Maglev has already been discussed for MCO to the convention center so WDW is obviously a next logical application.

Extending something that Disney isn't building to the property is not something you can call a Disney project, sport.

There will be things in Pandora that have never been seen before. Put whatever name you want on it. Most would call that cutting edge.

Post Proof or Retract.

There are plenty of technologies that could be applies at Disney, but until there is some concrete evidence that they are being considered, they are in the realm of armchair Imagineering, not new and rumor.
