Well 3 people complaining was enough to change PotC, so I'd say anything is possible.

Um, I think it was MORE than 3 people who complained for changes to POTC. I think it was the #MeToo movement that started it all.

And I think there would have been at least two characters who would have left Epcot if that were the case.

The Epcot announcement came down months before the #MeToo movement hit it's stride. The timing was actually perfect. The reference of 3 people complaining is a pseudo-Simpsons reference.
