I am here, and to think I am paying over $600 a night makes me ill. We are in our second room, the first one looked like and smelled like a crime scene. This hotel is absolutely disgusting. I want to cry. NEVER AGAIN. At least when you look beyond the mold, the shower is clean. Can't say the same for the carpet. This will ruin my weekend.

Can't say I had the same experience over the first week of October. Sorry you are having an issue, are you in tower 1? $600 a night? What you are in the presidential suite? Or just club level?

My favorite resort! I have never gotten less than rock star treatment here. PLEASE tell me you made them aware of this and it was made right by management.

As I just booked a 5 day stay here for June (my first stay at RPR) I'm curious how this turned out.

We are home- I stood in hideous lines three times to try to remedy the situation, the room was bad. Unacceptable- especially for what we paid (taxes and parking $675/night). We decided not to let it ruin the trip, and the manager has an essay from me complete with pictures. Had it not been so pricey, I wouldn't be so bothered, but c'mon! I'm not a cheapsake, but I sure as heck don't have money to pee away either. We will most definitely never stay there again- I'm not a fan of second chances- especially when they already had 3! On the plus side- we never heard the construction, the boat was always on time, and the Orchid Court was a nice place to unwind after a long day at the parks. It IS a beautiful place, but the unrenovated side was hideous- looks like they waited a tad too long to start the reno.

Here's an example- did a tiger stay here? you can also see the carpet buckling in the background- and the amount of stains- gross! Always wore my shoes unless I was sleeping.

I hope you keep on them and get at least most not all of your money back! I'd bet dollars to doughnuts you'd even take it in the form of a credit for Hard Rock! Good luck!

At this point, I'd take a credit to my Chase card I'm afraid to look. I opened my portfolio from our stay- total just for the stay (taxes and parking included) was $663/night . Off to work I go!
BTW- they even charged me a dollar for the phone call to order a pizza from room service-SMH!

on the phone only- once we walked into the first room. They were SUPER busy, as you can imagine, so no, we didn't wait around to get angrier talking to a manager. We just wanted to start having fun. I haven't heard back from my e-mail this morning (that supposedly went directly to the manager). I expected better from the Loew's Brand.

Another funny thing was I am allergic to their soap- found out AFTER I washed my face and my eyes swelled shut. Could have been worse, I could have been in the shower

Heard back from a manager today via e-mail- only requesting my phone number (which was in my original e-mail, and on the room reservation). Awaiting a call.
