Heard back from a manager today via e-mail- only requesting my phone number (which was in my original e-mail, and on the room reservation). Awaiting a call.
Good luck if you don't hear back soon call them and make a giant pest of yourself!

So depressing. Stayed there 4 times in both unrenovated and renovated rooms and always been happy. But that said, I've never paid close to that price. At $187 which is what we are paying in two weeks, you can be more forgiving.

Hopefully they will make it right. It's only too bad they didn't do so while you were there. That is unacceptable.

After a couple of times playing phone tag (totally my fault-worked more than I wanted to), hubs ended up talking with the manager who was extremely apologetic. He offered us 2 nights in the same room type to use whenever we'd like. Pretty cool! Too bad I'm completely broke- the kid has a long weekend break next week LOL!. Hopefully things turn out better, it IS a beautiful place. Good to know they care about the customer's experience.

After a couple of times playing phone tag (totally my fault-worked more than I wanted to), hubs ended up talking with the manager who was extremely apologetic. He offered us 2 nights in the same room type to use whenever we'd like. Pretty cool! Too bad I'm completely broke- the kid has a long weekend break next week LOL!. Hopefully things turn out better, it IS a beautiful place. Good to know they care about the customer's experience.
I hope you can use them soon!

I like this place too. It's my fav Universal Hotel, it's not 5 star or even Disney Deluxe quality, but it's a solid place to stay.

So our vouchers came in the mail for our two night stay. The manager explained it would be in the SAME room type and we could use them ANY time. The FIRST line (in bold) states "Water View Room" (we had a King Suite) and BLACKOUT DAYS APPLY. Seriously? Blackout dates! I PAID RACK DURING THE MOST EXPENSIVE TIME TO STAY! This place is not worth my time. I e-mailed the manager directly and I'll see where we go from here. I am just asking for a partial refund from our stay. Sorry to see they can't get it together, I don't want to make another trip for more of the same. Plus I'm sick, so I'm not in the greatest mood :(
