When I was younger, I was so entranced by the rose from Beauty and the Beast at some place at Disney. Now that we are going in a few weeks, I can't remember where it is? I really want to show my husband who has had very little experience with Disney. Does anyone know what I am talking about or where it is?

I believe it's in the French pavillion.

At MGM Studios where play house Disney Live is now, there used to be a animation themed counter service restaurant. It started out as Beauty and the Beast, there was a staircase as you entered with the rose under glass at the top. When Aladin was released in theatres the restaurant was rethemed and the rose was replaced with Genie's lamp. Could that be it?

i realize this is a 6 year thread bump, but I couldn't find info anywhere else...

I LOVED seeing the "secret" rose and stained glass in France. Just one of those Disney touches. When I recently visited Epcot (early June, 2013) the rose, window, books, etc. of Belle's library are all gone - replaced by shelfs of perfume that look like a department store.

Does anyone know why this change was made (could one more shelf of perfume really be that necessary, or was it a decision by the tenant?) and if there are any plans for the rose to pop up somewhere else - possibly in New Fantasyland?

Yep....since BoG opened it has now become sort of the B&tBeast headquarters.
It was a nice little find in France back in the day, but as reported above, that has now been removed...likely during the recent remodel/rebuild of the bakery.

If I do this right, below will be a photo of the rose from BOG. As the petals fall, the beast's portait changes. Pretty cool.

I'm glad this thread was bumped so I could see this post! I had always wondered where this memory was from. Specifically, the Aladdin one.

Was that the Aladdin character breakfast?? I remember doing that and loving it!! Jasmine and Aladdin were so attractive lol (I was a kid but pretty is pretty). I should try to find pics.
Honestly, the only memory I have was being in a large dim room with the lamp at the top of some stairs surrounded by faux rock. I think if you rubbed the lamp it played some audio.
Keep in mind, I could be wrong about the whole thing; Disney memories are not very reliable.

I remember the lamp stairs being roped off when I was there, because I wanted to go up and touch it soooooo much and couldn't.
(Not saying it was always roped off; just that particular day that stuck with me. Also a possibly unreliable memory.)
