Sorry, I thought we were just shouting out emotional frames of mind.

I always vote for a patio table @ Rose & Crown, timed for Illuminations. It's where I popped the question. Kind of an awkward first date, but romantic.

Just kidding about that irst date thing, we were together over a year and a half by then, but it ranks as both of our most romantic wdw restaurant.

I absolutely agree with California Grill, but another great place for a romantic dinner is Narcoosee's during Wishes. You can walk through the Grand Floridian and out around the water before/after dinner to enhance the romance! It has a quaint feel, being that it is slightly separated from the main part of the resort. Jiko, Flying Fish, and Artist's Pointe are also great choices! Enjoy

You know, I used to think Artist Point was a nice romantic spot, but I'm not sure anymore. My wife and I had our anniversary dinner there last week, and while the meal was fabulous as usual, and our server was excellent, the atmosphere was not as romantic as we have experienced in the past. We had a fairly late dinner, but the place was still full of kids. Now, I have nothing against kids (I'm a pediatrician, and after all, we're at Disney World), but many of them were fairly rambunctious, which is perfectly fine at Whispering Canyon, but frankly not what we were used to or hoping for at Artist Point.

Sadly, romance at WDW is always a crapshoot. There are some incredible restaurants that, let's face it, are better off kid-free, but of course, you can't say that out loud. TO even think it is a sin against kiddom. But when I think of how expensive some resturants are, and you're paying a premium not just for the meal but for the ambience, to have rowdy sugar-laden kids running and screaming and acting like, well, kids really steams my hams.

What bothers me more is the parents who PRETEND to be ignoring their kids. Why? Because THEY paid a lot for THEIR meal and they insist on it not being ruined...FOR THEM! Anyone else in the restaurant, however, has to suffer.

California Grill, Artist Point, Coral Reef.

those are three of my top picks. I also liked Jikos at the Animal Kingdom Lodge.

It's Disney though, romance can be anywhere :)
