I’ll be heading off to Universal Orlando with my family in a little less than two weeks from now, can’t wait to experience the wonder of Fast and the Furious Supercharged lol (if I even ride this during my visit)
I would actually highly recommend doing Supercharged once just for the pre-show. I swear, the cast members in there have turned it into a brilliant piece of Kauffman-esque performance art. They basically go out of their way to act as apathetic about everything as humanly possible, including their interactions with the film characters. It absolutely MAKES the attraction worth doing.

I can go ahead and confirm that the next Great Ranking Podcast will be focused on Universal Orlando and will feature long-time channel contributor Monkey as my co-host. Here are the 30 attractions we'll be covering in this exciting three part event. (You can blame Wiki for the wonky order as I was just copying off their list of attractions ;) ) More info to come! Velocicoaster and Bourne will NOT be a part of this list since Monkey hasn't experienced them yet, but Velocicoaster will of course feature prominently in the upcoming Coasters ranking.

Flight of the Hippogriff
Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure
Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
Hollywood Rip Ride Rock-It
Revenge of the Mummy
Incredible Hulk
Woody Woodpecker’s Nuthouse Coaster

Awesome! As my first and only trip to Universal Orlando was in 2003, I only have 19 attractions that I'll officially rank. I'm lucky to have that many because I've ridden 4 of them at Universal Studios Hollywood.

I'm going to rate Fast and Furious, too, because I've seen a lot of the ride at Hollywood as part of the backlot tour. The rides below are the ones I haven't ridden. I've put them in order based on how excited I would be to ride them based on the technology in them.

21Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure
22Harry Potter and the Escape from Gringotts
23Skull Island: Reign of Kong
24Hollywood Rip Ride Rock-It
25Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey
26Race Through New York
27The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride

Lucky Fella, it's 33 degrees where I am right now. Enjoy the sun and fun down there.
While not 33, its a “warm” 60 degrees right now. It is set to rain all day today ensuring that it doesnt warm up past 63 today. When you account for windchill and humidity it feels like its 45 out there - in other words I cant wait to escape back to Miami today lol where its going get to 79 today 😍

Orlando is forecasted to be rainy sweater weather till Wednesday and the coldest day is set to be Saturday with a low of 50 and the feels like likely to be in the high 30s/low 40s.

In other words @Disney Warrior I hope you packed ponchos and a few long sleeves!

I've been freakishly lucky when it comes to Florida rain. The worst I ever experienced was two 15 minute thunderstorms in the same day, including one I got stuck in RIGHT as I was getting off the bus arriving at Hollywood Studios so I had a LONG uncovered walk to the entrance :p When I went a couple months ago I kept hearing horror stories about how rainy it was before I left, and OF COURSE after packing for that weather I literally only encountered like two ten minute showers the whole time I was there and given the fact that it was HOT I would have welcomed more rain that trip haha.

Rainy weather in Orlando sucks! I only went on two rides (Minions and Transformers) and I was only at the park for about three hours (I’m in my hotel rn). It is very windy as well, I kinda feel that I made the right choice staying at the hotel for the afternoon. I did not expect Rhode Island/Mass like fall weather in the middle of Florida. Hopefully tomorrow has better weather than today. It’s also been 6 years since I’ve last been to Florida, and this is my first time at Uni.

Update: That day before dinner I had more time to kill, so I went back to USF, and rode Revenge of the Mummy, the jumpscares caught me off guard

Monday was definitely a better day, aside from not getting on Hagrid due to the long wait times (Forbidden journey was cool but I had no idea what was happening)

The weather gods were on my side during my third and last day at Universal, but Hagrid nearly destroyed me with its three hour wait in the morning, but it was well worth it. The only non-inverting coasters (I decided not to go on Hulk, Rockit, or Velocicoaster) I didn’t go on were Gringotts (didn’t want to stand in another long line for an HP ride, Harry is overrated) and the two Vekoma junior coasters. Jurassic Park and other water rides were not ridden by me because I didn’t want to get too wet. The joke attraction, Fast and Furious Supercharged was weird, wet, loud, and made no sense, family was only mentioned once outside of the pre show. I actually prefer Kong and Jimmy Fallon to Supercharged (and I’ll probably still make fun of it every now and then).

Just like with the WDW rankings, remember to get your rankings finalized if you want to be included in the Forum's composite rankings for Universal rides.
