The suspense is killing me...
Looks like time will tell. If all else fails, I finally found a Game Engine I like for developing my version.New box art revealed; thoughts?

Another blog post is live too - doesn't give much away, but highlights include the tease of an announcement for the release date (clearly they're taking a page out of Disney's book to generate hype by announcing an announcement!) and they're promising a trailer that includes actual game footage in the not-too-distant future. Hopefully it won't be long until we have more to speculate on and discuss; but it looks like they're still making progress which is better than nothing!
It gives you an idea of the variety of rides that will be available though... I spy my favourite classic; the wooden coaster lurking in the background. It'll give me chance to try and create something so dangerous even Six Flags wouldn't have it.Eh box art is box art. It never looks like the final product and I won't be buying a "box".
Erm.....so there's a new trailer that came out today. I personally feel a bit disappointed, what does everyone else think? I was expecting more of a technical jump from RCT3 to this..

It looks worst the Roller Coaster Tycoon 3.. I am extremely disappointed.
Exactly. They lost graphics. They lost reflection into the water among other aspectsit's been 11 years since RCT3 ....some graphic improvements should have been made...sigh
Exactly. You'd think they'd do better than this... If only Chris Sawyer was still there.it's been 11 years since RCT3 ....some graphic improvements should have been made...sigh
RCT3 has held up well enough with the 3D view. I have watched the trailer a bunch and marveled how it doesn't match up with anything they had described so far. They should have just stuck with the isometric view and focused on the customization that really gave the game longevity. Even a ride-your-ride feature could have used something more in that style instead of chasing after NoLimits, which really isn't a game.
My only hope so is Frontier's project for next year isn't Cra#@$, or I find enough time to develop my variant.. I need 40 hours in a day.I am going to wait for this to hit the clearance rack. There is a clear lack of effort displayed in the product presented to us. I highly doubt it will be even worth even half of MSRP. Such a shame after so much excitement.
