It's a shame Disney doesn't charge people money to get into the place.

If they started charging money to get into the park, they could maybe afford to do a stage show. ;)
Remember the good old days when Disneyland would make a stage show part of their tv marketing to get people to come to the park?

Now they don't have advertise. No need for live entertainment. No need for high quality rides. Just increase ticket prices and charge for every service and people will STILL pack the park. Where is the tipping point?

I suspect sales on this will contribute to the argument of whether to bring the show back or not.

It is a bit strange to release the soundtrack after the show has ended with no announced reopen.
Quite a few of us in park entertainment fandom have been asking for it/talking about it. They also probably wanted to see how the show was received before investing in the recording. And then they had to produce it. But also, I think it's to gauge interest both locally and potentially to remount the show elsewhere and/or seriously consider expanding it to a larger format. And they did hint with the marquee that it's not necessarily ended. *fingers crossed*

They're not going to do Hamilton at DCA (though I'd love it if they did), not when LMM has produced two extremely marketable actual Disney films.

But if they did, they'd just...cut the F bombs, which would be extraordinarily easy to do and change nothing about the show in any meaningful way. Shocking, I know.
