So how do you decide which park to go to on which day? We avoid EMH mornings and use Internet research to determine which is the best park choice for any given day. We have friends who just wing it and others who always go to MK on Monday, Epcot Tuesday, Ak on Wednesday and HS on Thursday, then repeat. Others just hop willy-nilly with no real reason behind it.
Our major determining factor is avoiding crowds and trying to have shorter lines, and of course not going during summer, holidays or other busy times. We also build in resort time and DTD time to every trip.

We do early EMHs almost every morning when available. It's so much easier to get on rides. We will sometimes do late EMHs, but tend to avoid parks with evening EMHs in the afternoon because they always seems the busiest. Then we plan based on how many times we want to see a park. MK or Epcot always has to start and end our trip also.

haha good show. Of course before this I always went old school with shooting valcano.

I always have to question the day to day things outside of holidays and school seasons and the like. I mean you would think if one site had better information more would follow them, but the more people that follow them, then the less effective the advice actually is, since it encourages more people to do the same thing and so becomes less acurate.

for the very specifics there is only one park I will recommend as being least crowded each day, and that is 1900 park fare. and that's merely due to capacity reasons, but it's a sure bet to have much less crowds than magic kingdom or other Disney parks.

My first stops are parks in order they were built - I remember when there was just 1 park so this is my nostalgic way of visiting them in the order I first saw them. Sometimes that means day one full day at MK sometimes I split it between MK and Epcot.

After that I hit parks that do not have EMH in the mornings and in the afternoon or evening I head to parks that DO have the evening EMH.

I usually start and finish with EPCOT mostly because it is my favorite park and it is usually a day with out morning EMH. This trip we are changing things up the last day of SSW will be our first day in a park so off to HS for that and Monday will be an EPCOT da love Mondays in EPCOT! I love every day at EPCOT! I do avoid morning emh!

I use crowd level @ easywdw.com. it's free.:D
We do like early EMH because it just works for us. We ride our favorite rides several times before the crowds come! We grab our Fast Passes for later, and we finish before noon when the crowds come around!:)
We generally go to EPCOT 1st to ride our favorite Test Track, then do MK the next day to hit all the mountains!:D AK, then DHS is last. We like to go to EPCOT twice and MK twice as well.:)

I like to plan for the longest day possible at the parks when I go. So I look through the week and see what parks are open early and which are open later, with the morning EMH and evening EMH. I plan accordingly to get the fullest day possible at each park I visit, so I can take my time to do everything I want too.

We go off peak times (Sept/Oct) and honestly have found freestyling to be far more relaxing than over planning. Other than the compulsory ADR's dictating where we have to be for meals we just go with the mood. If the park we head into is too crowded we just park hop to another. I used to be an inflexible planner using internet resources and touringplans.com as gospel but found out that I much rather enjoy going with the mood...it is vacation ya know! EMH's do somewhat influence our choices but not always. Moods, level of energy (or exhaustion), weather, ride times and other factors do go into our decision making but it is usually by the seat of our pants. As a business owner with employees and customers constantly depending on me for planning of any number of things I find that not planning makes my vacation that much more magic and relaxing.

We always start at MK, to EPCOT, to HS, to AK... Then back again, ending on MK. It's really not something we try to do, but it always ends up happening :) lol. It may change due to reservations though!

First and last days park is always MK no matter what day we arrive or leave. The other days are done according to the crowd calendars advice which we have found to be fairly accurate. We always get the park hopper anyway so if we do find conditions more crowded than we like we can hop over to a lesser crowded park. We plan our trips so we spend at least 2 full days at each park, one partial day at DTD and then possible day trip or two off Disney. Remaining days are spent returning to whichever parks we want to revisit. ADR dining plans are made according to park days.
