hard to believe that place is gone. or closed. I spent most of my childhood scared to death to do anything there. I remember my father bribing me with a cabbage patch kid doll if I would go down one slide. He knew I would love it, he just had to get me to try it. I did try it and loved it, still made him pay up on the doll on the way home.

I think I was afraid of the "lake" being natural. Grew up in Orlando, skiing the winter park chain of lakes but never liked the idea of swimming in murky water, even if it was disney water.

Its great to see niche websites like yours (its looking very nice) - great! It reminds me of a website about the Fort Wilderness Railway - quite specialist, but a real treasure.
