I think my daughter was on here earlier, while I was resting. :brick: I didn't crawl back out of bed until noon.
I watched that for a few minutes - what a novel idea - playing hockey outside!!!!

I still have the rest of today and tomorrow before I get my house back. Still waiting for this apparently big storm to hit too. When does it look like you'll be able to start subbing again Betty?
I'll have to do something soon, but still praying for that job to open up. They want me for the job - they made that quite clear - it's just that the current teacher doesn't know when she'll be leaving. She's hoping to sell her house first, but the market is pretty bad here right now. Her hubby was coming back for a week at Christmas, so I'm hoping that they decided to just move out there now and sell the house whenever.Yep, she just confessed. Kids!

When we were looking at camcorders, the guy at Best Buy that was helping us recommended the hard drive one. (which of course are the most expensive ones)

I'm back!! I got my new video camera- and I decided on the hard drive one. It is really nice. And the best part is that I got a case and a tripod with it!!:sohappy:

Well since it is a new year. I was thinking about resolutions. I normally don't make them but this yr I am trying to make one and stick to it. I will most likely fail but I am going to try.
Here it is.
I am going to go to work and do my job and stay out of my others business. In other words keep to myself so I don't get hurt. Right now my feelings are all on my shoulders and well ya'll might know how it feels to be stepped on once in awhile.
Yesterday I tried to be a friend to someone and she stepped on me and hurt my feelings. I don't want to feel this way but I think it is best if I keep to myself for a while.
What is your resolutions?

I have a couple of resolutions myself. #1 is to work harder in school. Last semester I procrastenated badly, and I am still worried that I failed a class. I don't want to be that way next semester (especially since now I have to pass everything, if I want to graduate next Dec). #2 is to keep working out, and going to my WW meetings.

That really stinks. I hope everything turns out all right, and you always have people here who will be there for you.
My resolution for the year is to not take up smoking. I think I can stick with it.

Ok, quick rant here.... I'm sure you other Moms can relate to this....
Why, why, why do friends and family insist on buying my 2 year old son gifts that clearly say, "Choking hazard. Not for under age 3"???? I don't get it! He turned 2 in August, so he's not even 2 and a half, yet my mother and our neighbor both got him gifts that are for ages 3 and up. Then, when I say I"ll put it away until he's older, I get dirty looks. Yes, lots of toys are for 3 and up and it can be hard to find age appropriate gifts, but don't buy him something that's a choking hazard!! :hammer:
