Rides or "Attractions" that used to scare you

I am pretty the very last dino that was over your head at the end moved towards you years ago, whereas now it just sits there. It just looked more scary.
I always thought I remembered the end being way more scary at that part. I mean, I was a little younger, but I always remembered it coming towards you too. There's also a dinosaur in the middle of the ride I remember coming towards me too.

There were a few rides I remember being scared of, but I wasn't ever scared enough to be crying and not want to do it again.

Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, the part in the dark where the train is supposedly coming toward you. I especially remember being scared the 2nd time I rode it because I was 8 and I rode it by myself because my aunt wanted to get a picture of me coming out on it.

Ironically, I was never scared of It' Tough To Be A Bug, but for some reason the butterfly thing in MuppetVision had me on edge the whole time the first time I saw it.

I remember the cannon scene in pirates kinda scared me. I was afraid something would hit me! I think it was scarier before captain barbosa was there.

I've only ridden Alien Encounter once, and, honestly, I think I got lost in the story somehow so I was more confused about what was going on than scared.

Magic Journeys. A 3D movie that used to be at the Magic Kingdom. Had a witch in it that, in my memory, shot lightning at you. I was 5. I hated her. Check that. I hate her. Always will. Witches that shoot lightning at 5 year olds are not ideal.

Also in Honey, I Shrunk the Audience I was deathly afraid of the cat turning into the lion. I literally screamed and covered my eyes and ears throughout the entire show after that part.

Countdown to Extinction (Dinosaur)!! I had no clue what to expect the first time I went on it. When the dinosaur chased the vehicle it seemed so real. The whole ride was freaky. I heard they toned it down since, what a bummer.

Also, Alien Encounters. I thought an actor was messing with me on the ride and it freaked me out. Then I learned it was all done with audio and other tricks.

One of the scariest memories of my childhood is a time we got stuck on Dinosaur due to a breakdown. Our ride car was just sitting there in the dark and I was convinced that the dinosaurs were closing in on us to come in for the kill... Scary stuff for a 6 year old!

my parents got stuck in the tunnel on nemo's ride with the swirling bubbles with the music looping for 20 min... they wont go on again
Haha the same thing happened to me! It was so obnoxious! We also got stuck right in front of Peach (the starfish) listening to The Big Blue World for like 15 minutes.

When I was young. 20,000 leagues under the sea terrified me. I was so scared that it would leak or we wouldn't come back up. Pirates of The Caribbean (cannon scene only) because those pirates can't miss with all their shots and they are getting closer and closer each shot.

I would never go on haunted mansion as a kid, just hearing the howling from in front of it was enough for me to not do it, I also would close my eyes on snow white mhm OH and the worst offender of all was Alien encounter. My dad tricked me onto that one by saying "Its a fun ride I promise" half way through in the dark I was ready to die once I heard that monster running around.

MK:
Pirates: Wouldn't go near it until I was almost 8
Haunted Mansion: Didn't ride until almost 8
Snow White: Just Kinda creeped me out...never actually got to ride it

Epcot:
SSE: Rode when I was 5 and going backwards terrified me

DHS:
Great Movie Ride: Alien. I still get creeped out at that part, even though I now love the ride!
Backlot Tour: Rode when I was 5, wasn't told about Catastrophe Canyon
ToT: Didn't ride until I was 10

AK:
Dinosaur: I still refuse to ride
Tough to be a Bug: Almost 8 when I went but as soon as Hopper came out I hid under my seat until the end

Another point for Dinosaur. For some strange reason I get really uncomfortable being near dinosaur bones and have trouble making it past the carnotaurus skeleton in the queue let alone the ride.

I used to be terrified of Haunted Mansion and Splash Mountain. The alien scene in Great Movie Ride still scares me a bit too.
I am scared of Tower of Terror and Rock N Roller Coaster and Expedition Everest.
