Three Broomsticks at IOA is very good...as good as or better than any counter service food you will find at Disney, as was the Enchanted Oak Tavern that it replaced.

Outside of that place (not including CityWalk), the rest is about the same as Disney.

Honestly that is just based on your anti Disney input. Disney has some really good counter service areas. Like any other theme park the food at some will be so-so to good and if you look around a bit you really find a diamond in the rough. Now I do agree with you about the enchanted Oak. I just loved that place and always enjoyed a quick meal in that really nice atmosphere. I can not speak for three broomsticks since I did not go to IOA this past September. Looking to go down a day or two next year before my Disney Vacation again to see IOA and HP. At that point I will will let you know what I think of three Broomsticks. Honestly, I was sorry to hear that the enchanted Oak was gone.

Mythos is better than any restaurant I've been to in any theme park. That said, other than that, the food fare in the parks at Universal are fairly average except for a few desert locations. Its not that big of a deal however when you consider all that Citywalk has to offer.

Agreed, I've been going to Mythos since IOA opened and have always had an excellent meal there, they have some unique creations at different times like pork plantain nachos and mushroom brioche...

Two of the best meals I've ever had, have been at Mythos.

I can understand how Mythos can be overrated if you heard nothing but bragging about it. I think part fo the charm is realizing there is that good a restuarant where you can sit down and relax in the middle of a theme park. Disney and Universal are the only parks that can have that experience and even then they are rare.

Actually both SeaWorld and Busch Gardens have a nice sit-down restaurant located in their parks as well. (that and SeaWorld has their own Luau which is on par with Poly's)

Universal counter service is hit or miss... depends on the season and such, If it's during an event like Christmas or mardi-gras then they have better food...
