it is amazing how fast this is moving compared to typical disney pacing.. I guess they are pretty good at demo
@Monorail_Red_77, I'm gonna be "that guy" and request that you please refrain from taking photographs while driving a car. I don't want to be the one you crash into because you're not paying attention to the road.
Here are some pics of the parking area directly to the east of the speedway. So if you are entering the mk parking lot it is directly to your right, up against world drive.
Here's a google earth look at all of the areas affected.

Yes, correct. was just marking total affected area. I probably should have been more clear, sorry.Note that not all of the area circled in red is becoming parking. The new parking is only north of the Mickey pond.

How are they able to fly over the MK? What happened to the 3-mile no-fly zone?
How high do they have to stay? It's about altitude and permission - not 'no flying' all together.

3000 ft
Yep, and it even says so at the start of the article, that these were taken from about 3000 ft.
I used to have a link to the TFR page from the FAA site. Short version? 3 MI/3000ft centered over Bay Lake.
Yes I was very surprised. Large areas are already covered in asphalt too. Looks like those areas just need to marking painted on. Also some light towers are up already as well. Not sure if they were there before or are new.
I only looked at the image you posted, didn't click the link until I got home. That's an awesome lens on their camera for photos that clear taken above 3,000 ft. Good for them.Yep, and it even says so at the start of the article, that these were taken from about 3000 ft.
