Here are some pics of the parking area directly to the east of the speedway. So if you are entering the mk parking lot it is directly to your right, up against world drive.

Yes I was very surprised. Large areas are already covered in asphalt too. Looks like those areas just need to marking painted on. Also some light towers are up already as well. Not sure if they were there before or are new.

Ok. I'll put you on the list with my wife. I get what you are saying. I agree with your statement about it being a safety issue. For the record. I very rarely take pics while driving. Only two instances here. I only do it in conditions I feel are safe for me and those around me. I also keep my eyes on the road and not at what I am taking pics of. For me it is no different that adjusting a radio or the A/C.

So it looks like the trams will be looping or are they going to stripe the old road and have you walk all the way to the tram turnaround? Interesting....

I only looked at the image you posted, didn't click the link until I got home. That's an awesome lens on their camera for photos that clear taken above 3,000 ft. Good for them.
