Stroller parking!!!

I do hope that they redesign the tollbooth/entry area. There should be a separate route for busses going to the MK or the MK Resorts.
I definitely agree that they need to make some changes for the busses. When I was talking to one of the MK bus transport leaders they were saying that it's at least once a month a driver scrapes the toll booth which not only means repairs for both the toll booth but also repairs to the busses, drug tests and suspensions/terminations for drivers and tons of paperwork. I have absolutely no idea why they haven't fixed it

Would be nice if they fixed this with a separate roadway with the re-do. Now they will just need to repeat this at EPCOT as there too they have to enter via parking plaza.

The Epcot plaza is built wider so there is no issue there except during peak periods when traffic is backed up down the feeder ramps. Thankfully that's only 2 or 3 days a year and it's usually due to a MK redirect which will hopefully be less common with the new 2000-2500 added parking spaces.

That's true. I was just referring to the fact that the busses enter through the main plaza at all though. Seems like historically, MK and EPCOT have busses entering through main plaza and then with DHS and AK they have their own dedicated entrance area away from the main toll plaza altogether. Granted DHS enters through the back (smaller) toll plaza.

Excitement? Parking spaces? Could be done... I propose Disney expand the parking lot as follows:

New toll booths will be fully automated to use magic bands and deduct $50 per day, or $500 for length of stay (up to 14 sequential days) directly from your Checking\ savings\ retirement account\ or second mortgage against your home. If you don't have the funds for that you can pay $25/day to park in the swamp 'round yonder. (Beware of Bruce the gator wearing a shark fin.)

Once you've given up your inheritance simply to park, you will be treated to the following amenities for your vehicle (please keep your selfie sticks inside the vehicle at all times):

I guess you and Navigator didn't go to the park 5 days a week for the past 4 years. Cruella and Scar sections are rarely filled. They usually park extra trams there. Even when they park cars on the grass areas, the Cruella and Scar sections aren't all filled.

My information is accurate. And there are operational reasons they avoid filling the cruella lot. Hopefully these will be taken care of with the redesign.

This isn't something that has been happening for all of the last 4 years. But for the past 1 to 2 years it has been. The problem will only continue to grow and disney is right to address it now. You and I both know Disney would not spend the money on this if it was not necessary.

I don't understand how you can reconcile your statement that: "My information is accurate" with the immediately following statement that they "...avoid filling the cruella lot". It may be true (I have no information either way) about operational issues, but it does not alter the fact that the lot(s) are not use and thus all parking spots are not filled. I also understand that they are in fact parking lots, as I believe I've seen them used on a couple of days, so that does not appear to justify your statement.

I never said they don't fill those lots. I said they avoid filling them. They try not to use them and save them for last. But when necessary they can and do fill those lots.

No, Frustrating as hell. Stop and go Jacksonville traffic in a race car has to be infinitely worse in a race car without air conditioning....
My ride is actually pretty decent with very little stop and go. The new banked 90 degree curve on Haines st would be especially fun.;)
