I dont' care what his content is. He contradicts himself and talks down to other people and refuses to discuss, only preach.

I have no patience for those who have none for others.

Hey Brad.. I'll race ya to the bar

It is on what it should have made. The film started off with a $50 million opening weekend and is going to barely finish with $125-130 million.

I am allowed to state my opinions. You are allowed to as well but you don't have to be jerks by claiming I don't have an opinion because I have not seen a film. If I think the movie sucks then it sucks for me. Doesn't matter based on other films.

Hey buddy, calm down. Again... I'm not trying to be a jerk, if I were you'd know. I think we are arguing the same side of the fence here. We both agree on the Hulk not being good, that's your thread here, so let it be... lots of good stuff is coming up here, just enjoy it. You can take two peoples input or not, it's just input, it has nothing to do with who you are or if we like you or not. However, if you keep bringing all this emotional baggage in here, it will affect how everyone percieves you, so just play it cool OK?

Spoken by a true ghoul with glowing eyes...

It's useless, Jamie, I quit. I'd rather start a thread about a new movie every time I feel like healthly discussing it than going through all this every time we don't agree with this kid.

Oooohhhkayyyy...
Here is my suggestion for future posts....
Maybe we can do away with the whole"review" aspect of these posts. I mean, No One is an expert, altho some folks do have some insider info from actually working in the field.
I suggest the following...
Using tags like "I just saw _____. Anyone care to discuss it??"
Or..."Thoughts on _____?" Review should not be used.
Critics like Tose mentioned before, who actually get paid to review movies are one thing, tho I still believe that They are 2 bit hacks who couldnt make it in the business. I would LOVE to see a movie and discuss it, much like reading a book and discussing it...like a club of sorts. Everyone has different opinions, and we do not need a "review" of the film. Obviously we all have computers and can read for ourselves online if we want one...:animwink:

OK everybody...
Let's simmer down now, and remember this simple fact. Reviews are opinions, and opinions are like a**holes. Everybody has one.

Seriously, how boring would the world be if we all liked the same things? Nobody has the 'right' or 'wrong' view of a movie or a piece of art or music. You either like it or you don't.

Let's lighten things up just a bit, m'kay?

OK, getting back to the orignal post topic and taking recent advice in tow:

Hey, I went and saw The Hulk. It sucked! How was that?

Gary, which one of the three are you in the picture? In your old avatar, you looked like a cousin of mine. Now none of those three look familiar.

I'm the one on the right. I bleached my hair just before I went to WDW. Sally's Beauty Supplies and Supercuts RULE!!

Well, finally saw it. And, as I expected, I enjoyed far more than Daredevil. Maybe it's because, even though both are neutral characters to me (meaning I REALLY love Spider-Man, I like X-Men, and I just read Daredevil and the Hulk), I don't really like Daredevil all that much...

Anyways, the editing was FANTASTIC. Any comics fan will love seeing this movie, the way Ang Lee created comic panels on the silver screen is amazing. It worked best during action scenes, like the desert chase. The Hulk itself looked far more real than the one on the trailers, his facial expressions were marvelous. The begining of the movie is a bit slow, but I kinda think of it as Jaws, you only see the "monster" after 60 minutes of film, so your antecipation builds.

Only nitpicks:

- The "growing factor" - the Hulk gets stronger when he gets madder, but he never GREW in size.

- Even though he did had two lines (and the first one was AWESOME!!!!!), he never said his catchphrase, so it was a bit of a let down...

- They kinda use one good villain from the comics in a bad way... I don't know if we can already discuss plot points, so lemme know if you guys wanna go into it.

- The "birth scene", the actual moment of gamma irradiation, lacked a bit of impact, I think. I mean, in the comics its a bomb; in the series it was sabbotage, and there was a kind of an explosion... But this one was so bland... What did you guys think?

All in all, I'm already waiting for Joe Fix-It!!! Spidey, I'd recommend you check it out. Julia went in saying it was a waste of time cause she knew she'd hate it and she came out down right impressed.

And I still wanna know what Hairy Gary thought!!!!
