Anyway...you can't clap to Spectro...and although it seems simple, being able to clap along to music is a big deal when it comes to interaction...
Again back to the theory that Spectro was designed to be an opposite of MSEP. Spectro was actually written as a waltz, so the choreography is even different based on the underlying music. You can't waltz (properly) to MSEP, but that's ok, as it's an entirely different show.
But back to the original point, crowds are very responsive to the show. And it's pretty funny so hear so many people say "Oh look, it's Elliot and Pete!" Now that's pretty awesome that people still know who those two are. It's not like they have a huge park appearance schedule. But they tell their kids about Pete's Dragon, and maybe watch the movie. So it's a full generational circle. My cousins have never seen MSEP, and I look forward to bringing them soon.
