I guess I'm in the minority here ... I like the Top 7 attractions show. Not only is it fun and informative, but the hostess has charisma. I think it does a fantastic job of capturing the spirit of the parks.

Call security? Heh, no. My 'interrogation' wasn't nearly as intense as I made it sound. In fact, it was quite friendly. If you'd like to view it yourself, <a href="http://68.211.101.10/videos/ResortTV.wmv">be my guest</a>. She may have seemed somewhat uncomfortable being filmed, but she certainly wouldn't call security, heh.
Note that it isn't a terribly interesting video. Highlights include a cast member who suddenly materializes behind the counter, a reference to the 'Zip-a-dee-doo-dah Tip for Today', and a stalling tactic designed to tax my patience.

At least you asked, though, and I'd be hard pressed to want to know why it's gone.
I can't believe she didn't even know what it is! I guess not everyone is as obsessive compulsive about Disney as we are.

Can someone direct me...
to where I can find this video online....or is that not allowed....I know I have 2 pieces of the loop already but would really like to get the entire loop.

i too would like a copy! where in disney central? or under what name on kazaa??
i don't know what was so addicting about that show. we would have it on when we were getting ready, or after a long day at the parks, to unwind, plan the next day, and fall asleep to, leaving visions of mickeyplums dancing in our heads...
when we went for christmas we stayed at a different hotel so we thought it was a different channel...
i love the tip for today and the little paper animation thingy they did with the little castle and flags....

Well, when I think about it.I really enjoyed something different for a change.I may have posted my opinion prior to saying this, but now that Im back in the real world, I wouldnt mine seeing her corny hair and towup face, and hearing her lil lokes.I mean, for me, going back last december was totally what the doctor ordered.Cuz I had been upset about school, I had broken my leg last october, and then thinking that I wasnt gonna be able to go.But I really had fun in December.And I really enjoyed the top 7 things to see @WDW.But thats just my opinion.

Resort TV Download Instructions
All right. Here's the sequence of commands you could use (as of 2/13/04 at 1:01pm, heh):
In #Disney-Central,
!video
In DCC session,
cd walt disney world resort
cd resorts
cd resort tv
get wdw_resorttvloop001_disneyb.wmv
get wdw_resorttvloop002_disneyb.wmv
get wdw_resorttvloop003_disneyb.wmv
get wdw_resorttvloop004_disneyb.wmv
get wdw_resorttvloop005_disneyb.wmv
Now, wait a while. Hopefully, you'll eventually be prompted on whether you wish to accept the file, depending on your IRC client and settings. Note that your client should be configured to accept files. Additionally, since the queue space is limited, you may require several attempts to get all five videos.
I recall reading above that some of you have found the files on Kazaa. Did you manage to download them? What search queries did you use to find the videos?

I will miss the "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah" segments! On our trips, I'm always the first to get up and ready in the morning, and while everyone else is getting ready for the parks, I head down to Food Court to get breakfast and bring it back to the room. And as we eat and get ready, we watch and watch and watch thre Resort TV. It just starts the day for us. I'll miss it!

i just found out about it, so i will try my best to explain it. when you finally get there, it is worth it because there is so much cool stuff to download.
go to: http://www.wdwresorttv.com/
if you follow the directions under "connecting to irc" it gives you instructions to download a program from http://www.mirc.com/
which is some kind of program that lets you chat, exchange files, etc. kind of like kazaa but way more complex. after you finally set it up, make sure you are on the "newnet" server (this was my problem, i was in the wrong place) then you can go to #Disney-Central which is kind of like a "chat room". then find the files you are looking for in the dcc session.
