Good Day Disneyaerians. Well after an exhausting day in the parks, once my head hits that pillow I'am off to Never Never land. But have you been at a Disney resort that the bed is so uncomfortable that you can't wait to get back to your own bed at home.I've read that Swan & Dolphin have awesome beds, but I must admit in my five stays at three different mods,Ive yet to have a complaint and last year at PORS the new queen size beds were an added bonus. So have you had a bad nights sleep in a Disney resort bed in any of your stays.?:)

Last trip I was 4.5 months pregnant, so sleep issues were due to that not the resort. But my friend was laughing because she said she couldn't even see me when she woke up due to all the pillows I had around me. Some behind my back, holding one on the front so my arm didn't fall asleep. A stack at my feet because my ankles were swollen. LOL I had every extra available pillow in that bed with me!

I'll be honest - the beds at Grand Floridian and Yacht Club were amazing! It was like a hug every night! A big fluffy amazing hug! They are awesome!

The only real discomforts we've had come from our preferences. DH and I are used to sleeping in a king, so it's a little harder for us to get comfy in a queen. The only real comfort issue I had was back when we stayed at WL. We needed another blanket, which for whatever reason they couldn't get me so I'd have to wait for DH to be out enough each night for me to snag it from him. ;) Which is funny b/c normally he just likes the top sheet, but it was cold.

I think the mattresses are fine. It's the linens I dislike. The blankets are stiff and the comforters are suffocating. Our most recent stay at Riverside was mildly annoying because I was too cold without the comforter but stifled with it on. It was almost enough to make me consider packing my own blankets for the next trip (which would be cleaner than those rarely-laundered comforters anyway).
I agree! The linens must be bleached out because they're so stiff and rough.

Beds have been fine, but I'm so done in at the end of the day, I could sleep on the floor and be fine. Once my head hits the pillow I can be out in no time. Only time I had a difficult time sleeping was when the knuckleheads thought it would be great to PARTY ON in the resort greens, all hours into the night. Calls to the front desk helped a bit but not entirely. My son though, once had to sleep on a pull out couch that he said was terrible.

We also had a bed at Kidani Village in AKL that was very high and had thick decorative planking going around it that I really smashed my shin into. It seems like all of the rooms we have stayed in in AKL are crowded with a lot of furniture (little tables, chairs, etc.) but other than that its one of my favorite resorts.
