I saw the reprinting in Epcot today. Nothing has changed. View attachment 50559View attachment 50560

Hideous! The gray/gray blue shades are pleasant. The browns/beiges are UGLY. Put them all together and you have HIDEOUS. Who is making these awful decisions? Whoever they are... fire them! Someone... PLEASE I beg of you...for the love of Disney and all that's good in the world... fire them! :banghead:

It's happening elsewhere in Disney too (VWL refurbishment comes to mind), can we get all the designers fired at the same time? Maybe they want to see how far they can push the cheap paint jobs before anyone important in the company cares.

I just can't believe this is actually the final product for the entire plaza. This has to be a paint test, on a very large scale, to determine which paint scheme to eventually use. It just has to be. They can't be this stupid and/or willing to ruin the aesthetics of Future World. They just can't be.

If they can leave SSE's ending (or lack thereof) as is, then they have no problem doing this, among all the other awful choices they have ruined Epcot with over the years. sadly.

I am happy with anything that makes EPCOT look like it is finally getting some attention. I really hoping that this is only the start to a refurb of the whole future world section. Every pavilion is in need of retheming and updating either by new sponsorship or TDO doing it themselves.

Hey, atleast they are being consistent......consistently BAD! I mean seriously. For those who say we complain about WDW to much....explain this one to me? Looks like they went to property control and said.....hey Joe....we have some of this left.....got a little bit of that. Why not.....no one ever looks up here anyway. So the paint crew had a few drinks drew straws as to who was going to paint what color and had at it. They couldn't have come up with a worse color scheme if they tried......oooppps they did!

After looking at it again, it's probably just a temporary thing for AFV.

Of course, in Orlando temporary may mean 20 years.

They filmed AFV for only one night and the stage is already gone... also the new paint job extends past where the cameras would have been able to see now. They would never go to all the trouble of repainting all of this just for one night of filming when they could just rig up some special lighting.
