Politics Reopening Rally to Be Held Outside Disneyland on Saturday, October 17th

Anyone that orders In N Out with having them add the chilis to their burger is a fool. I think they even grill them too if you ask... but having a few sliced chilis really takes an animal style double double up a notch.

Yep its what I feared, sparsely attended and mostly just by the "Recall Newsom" group which isn't very many.

So unless the crowds start showing up by the thousands after noon its going to be seen as 1. a joke of an event and 2. seen as not really many want Disneyland to reopen any time soon.

Made my morning seeing adorable little toeheads waving Recall Gavin signs in front of the normally abandoned Disneyland. For once, I felt like I wasn't the last man on Earth. They should do this every morning!

Y’know, currently I’m not allowed to see my 98 year old Dad at his Nursing Home except via window visits. It’s awful, but a necessary precaution that is infinitely preferable to my Dad catching covid.

Anybody participating in this “rally” who is NOT an unemployed CM or local business owner and is just a disgruntled “fan” needs to get a freaking life.

I really dislike the "recall Gavin Newsom" campaign getting intermingled with the "Reopen Disneyland". I'm as critical of his recent Covid measures as the next guy- but rallying to get him removed from office confuses the "let's get Disneyland reopened" message. I am mildly surprised we didn't see more Disneyland CM's there- especially the ones that just got laid off.
