Yes, reddish orange. It should be like a part covered, part pergola style pathway.

There's no reason this couldn't be open a year from now- of all the construction projects- this isn't the most simple. Seems like so much new will come online around the same time- will marketing like that???

The construction timeframe seems like it will not be that bad. The problem is that they should have started earlier.

I hope this is plussed. I recently experienced this attraction at Walt Disney Studios park in Paris, and I can say First person, that this attraction is terrible. The screens were blurry, and still looked double vision with the glasses. The configuration is an uncomfortable 3x3 for this style of attraction, and I still cannot describe exactly what the ride was about. I hyped this up to my girls (4 and 7) and maybe my high expectations ruined this attraction for us. If you ask my girls as far as what attraction was the most fun, they would say they liked the parachutes at Toy Story land better.

This is interesting. I'd be really interested to hear from anyone else who has experienced the ride first hand.

I rode it last year several times - I really liked it overall, and found the 3D to not be blurry (personally). My main two complaints would be that:
1. There be one extra "physical", non-screen based scene
2. More motion in the vehicles

The lack of motion in the vehicles (up and down, tilting etc) was the most glaring part to me. I am sure there will not be a change in scenes in this version of the ride, but hoping they upgrade the vehicles to provide more motion.

I just asked my wife what her opinion was as well. Her complaint was the floor is too distracting. You can see the floor, the path of the ride vehicles etched in the floor, and the reflection of the screen on the floor for most of the ride. There is only once scene, where the ride vehicle pulls in, and back out, that the video has any immersion. Even though this ride is trackless, seeing the pattern on the floor guided us where the vehicle was going. Neither of us liked it.

This ride is excellent. If you want to be distracted by the floor that's your choice... just as it's my choice to be distracted by Carno on a stick at the end of Dinosaur. I still like Dino though..

This will be the most popular attraction at the park when it opens by a long shot. This is Spider-Man lite. More family friendly. It's a new age Disney dark ride.

Bad show is not my choice. But I agree if you like Spider Man, you will like Ratatouille. However, the rest of us will be disappointed.
This is a basic screen based attraction with a poor storyline. This is not new age, If You Had Wings was screen based in 1972.

Spider-Man- that's continually rated as one of the best attractions ever made... yea similar. I think Ratatouille will be very very well received. The story is good. What is wrong with it?

Also you can see the floor on mystic manor and pooh..

Mystic Manor and Pooh have physical sets. You are not watching a screen that is reflecting off the floor as a distraction. The story? I didn't know I was supposed to be the Rat at first, I thought I was me, a person. How can I be the Rat, and see the Rat?

Ratatouille is not going to be topping the charts of awesome attractions. Who is rating Spider Man as one of the best?
