Bad show is not my choice. But I agree if you like Spider Man, you will like Ratatouille. However, the rest of us will be disappointed.
This is a basic screen based attraction with a poor storyline. This is not new age, If You Had Wings was screen based in 1972.
Unless it makes you sick (like my wife), who doesn't like Spider-Man?

Edit: Point of clarification. Spider-Man makes my wife sick. My wife doesn't make me sick.

Do you think when Rat and Guardians are open that they will ditch the tier system?
I suspect they'll move things around. If I had to bet, I'd say that Soarin' gets moved to Tier 2.

They probably need at least one more D/E added over and above Rat/Guardians to have demand spread out as much as necessary.

Similarly at DHS I could see the two Star Wars rides and Mickey and Minnie's all Tier 1 and everything else Tier 2.

Soarin gets moved before Test Track?????

Higher capacity. It could easily handle the move now. Frozen and Test Track couldn't. Rat and Infinite will easily substitute for Soarin.

I guess at least you'd have something you'd actually want and need a fastpass for in tier 2 if that were to happen and do we really see them having that many tier 1 attractions?

Tier 1:
GotG
Rat
FEA
TT
and don't forget ROE

Tier 2:
Soarin ( everyone will pick this and it will be busier than ever )
MS
Figment
Nemo
LwtL
Spaceship Earth
Character M&Gs

Additional FP+
new attraction in UK?
if they put something new in the 3d theater?

We can always provide data to support whatever argument you are trying to make. If you enjoy Spider Man, you will probably enjoy Ratatouille as well. In my opinion, both fall short of being a memorable attraction.

You would be hard-pressed to find any sort of reputable data source to back the notion that Spiderman is a subpar ride, which is not to discount your personal opinion of the ride. However, like movies, amusement park attractions have accepted evaluation sources (i.e. ratings and reviews), by which Spiderman would be to rides what something like the Godfather is to movies. You are very much entitled to dislike the Godfather, but I wouldn't recommend using it as a reference for a meh movie.

It's also likely we will see FP+ added to the ride in the Mexico pavilion if/when it gets the Coco overlay, assuming the movie does well.

Also, you missed Crush as a Tier 2.

I don't know why I always forget about poor Crush and yes we'll see what happens in Mexico. After putting it down on paper, I bet Test Track moves down to Tier 2 as well. That's way too many attraction in Tier 1.... It'll be interesting to see them figure out the balance.

OK, then. Prove that's the case by providing data that Spider-Man is generally considered a poor ride.

We'll wait...

You asked who was rating Spider-Man and I showed you. I am not trying to say you should like Spider-Man, everyone has their likes and dislikes, I am just providing evidence that Spider-Man is widely considered to be a great theme park ride. I personally dislike Tower of Terror, it's not the type of ride I enjoy, but I would never try to make a case that it's a bad ride.

Can I suggest that this argument is moot, because Ratatouille is intended to be much more of a family-friendly ride and Spiderman is all in on being a thrill ride?

I am not going to further derail this thread on the topic of who likes, and who does not like Spider Man. I just made a comment that the attraction is too obnoxious for me. In all fairness, I have not experienced the attraction since the HD upgrade. Maybe I am just in the demographic that this type of attraction does not appeal to.

I also made the claim that data can presented to support various opinions on subjects.

I was on Ratatouille a few weeks ago. I provided my opinions and views of the attraction. I felt it was grossly overrated, especially since the announcement that it was being replicated at Epcot, I thought it would be better than it was.

I will wait an see the overall reaction to this attraction is when it opens.
