Well, it doesn't look like the fountain in the artist's concept survived the addition of the creperie.
The old site plan showed it roughly here:
412877

Though that plan has clearly been revised as the bathrooms have been moved by the creperie.

Wonder if the wavy path under the gondola will be guest-accessible?View attachment 412813
The fountain is not located in the crêperie area. It is directly in front of the attraction entrance, where equipment is still being moved and stored. There's no point in having it built now when it would just be an obstacle.

Is that a larger fountain on the left where the path comes down from the front of the pavilion? Its outline seems to mimic the fountain in the front of the pavilion.

It doesn't seem to have been in the original concept art. There were just trees and benches there. Perhaps they decided the pathway along the back of the pavilion was too narrow to plop a fountain there.

I was thinking the same thing.

Looks like a fountain

That's just a planter.

Do they have any plans to try to cover up this show building from guests in the Skyliner? Seems bad to see a green building and then see the front of it themed. A row of large trees where those cars are parked would help a bit I think but idk

The only area a few trees could be placed is in the ditch between the service drive and the backstage road. Even then it wouldn’t hide the abrupt transition and stair.

Not really. The space directly adjacent to the building is a service road that must remain clear as a “public way” for egress, fire truck and maintenance access.
The berm doesn't have to be touching the building.

There's literally nothing else that isn't easily moveable behind the show building

It seems that the back of France will be left unthemed, but, unlittered. It is literally backstage and WDW doesn't mind if one sees backstage in passing whether in one's car, in a bus, or looking down at the roofs of buildings in a monorail.

After all, you get a long and unfiltered view of several parking lots, and they're not going to do anything to theme that.

A berm isn’t really useful for views from above. Even then, it would require regrading of a far wider area, moving roads and the utilities below. This thing also has a giant green corner looming over the Morocco Pavilion. It just is not well sited.

I'm somewhat fine with the back of France being unthemed, but I wish it could still be made slightly less unnattractive.
