That’s my bathroom break time, if they start laying Remember the Magic I’m staying away until that song cycles out again.
Wonder if they threw in “It’s A Small World” lol.

They can put Obi Wan up on the screen, waving his hand and singing "It's a small barge after all"Wonder if they threw in “It’s A Small World” lol.. I probably shouldn’t laugh it’s quite possible and sadly fitting.
Longwood Fountain shows are amazing.Fire fountains as a surprise element would be really cool and provide some wow factor. Haven't seen any rumors of them though. I don't think they existed yet when Disney was planning any previous shows.

I figured out how to hide the barges!!!
Small World post show, another thing they were smart about, I bet the park cleared real quick with that one.Wonder if they threw in “It’s A Small World” lol.. I probably shouldn’t laugh it’s quite possible and sadly fitting.
Interesting shot. From this angle it makes it look like it is centred with the American Pavilion, but not with SSE. I dunno. Angles are hard.
I see the nozzles plugging with calcium unless they treat the water.I'd bet a few things will happen with this:
1) The nighttime show will be spectacular and loved by all
2) The fountain-hiding bit will run for maybe a year before being turned off
3) When the daytime fountains are turned off, they'll still leave the barges there. They're going to be a daytime eyesore for the next 20 years.
Why?
Pumping all of that water is expensive. There's power costs and maintenance costs. Imagine having to pump enough water to hide a McDonalds... Then multiply that by 5. That's expensive. The "daytime fountains" won't be around for long. Also note how well they keep up with the current fountains. If something stops working, it doesn't affect receipts so no need to fix it.
To me, this is going to be like just leaving the crane up year round because it's easier than not doing it.
All that being said, you'll eventually get use to it. People got use to cell towers. When they first popped up they were ugly and everywhere. I can't remember the last time I noticed one.
that gets me every time when I see one of these shots and how big Japan's show building is, and yet never had an attraction installed.View attachment 542802
The trick is to pull a line looking at the ground plan, not the tops of the buildings.
It is a big space.that gets me every time when I see one of these shots and how big Japan's show building is, and yet never had an attraction installed.![]()
Yes. Flat tops. What’s the gray barges backstage in the water? Firework barges? But the small ones do not have anything on themAnd the ones on land were for the kites correct?
There has to be a reason they didn’t center this right?View attachment 542802
