Refillable Mugs Cost Increase

Just saw this on AllEars and thought I would post it for your information:

The cups are already too small. By the time you get your drinks and walk back to the room.....it is time to go back for a refill. :lol:

The size is smaller. I was there in September of 2006 and got the bigger size that was $11.99. I just got back at the end of October and they are only offering the smaller size. (I think it used to go for $7.99) This size fits in a cupholder. The price was $12.49.

Sorry to report, but yes. Wife and I were @ Beach Club last week and we were having coffee at the marketplace. Saw the new mugs and they were smaller. We just shook our heads. As long as people keep paying, they will keep raising the prices.

does any one remember back in the day when they were like the size of a 7-11 big gulp(well,not quite, but close!) I specifically remember the cups from Dixie Landings (Port Orleans) being bright yellow! i think they were only like 10 dollars or something...ahh those were the days!

no, they all have the generic YOMD design. CSR is the only resort that still has hotel specific mugs as Pepper Market is run by an outside vendor.
