DeSantis will paint this as a win. I guarantee it. “We’ve forced them from bringing their woke California employees to Florida”… or something like that. He is too predictable.
You are probably right. Companies, officials etc with the help of their PR machine are good at spinning things to make them think they look better.

It just makes it more clear that current Florida is anti-business. I bet the Lake Nona community is absolutely livid with the state right now.
It’s going to be harder to spin that, considering the headline news is that Florida is losing $1 billion, especially for Republican donors.

The local businesses and local governments will surely disagree. When you run a business there are no woke dollars coming in…..they are just dollars. Property values may take a hit too. Hard to tie that directly to this but could have an impact.

DeSantis office saying it’s not their fault basically
The public will come around and realize what a big mistake DeSantis made. Disney will not be the only business that begins to question what DeSantis is doing and reconsider Florida projects. Florida is bo longer business friendly and this $1 billion is only the first loss with more to come.
PR office doing their job - spin the truth to make some believe.
Here’s the Orlando mayor’s comment:
“It is unfortunate that Disney will not be moving forward with construction of the Lake Nona campus. However, these are the consequences when there isn’t an inclusive and collaborative work environment between the state of Florida and the business community.
