What prevents the new board from not interfering ? What costs could be transferred to the state?

I imagine most of the (construction) work the improvement district approves is not very woke and interfering with it just to be jerks, clogging up the pipelines, would be a terrible economic look.

Nothing and none

Get ready for “it”…like forever

Certain segments of fans are gonna try to straddle supporting the nonsensical party politics here…and still think Disney will “outsmart” it and build them new rides and fire work shows because of it…

Watch out for that fence post 😱

The unions are involved in every part of this. The unions pushed Chapek to make a statement. They are in this start to finish. Anytime WDW makes a big release the unions have a 24ish notice so they can do the same. The call if the Unions will make a timed release with this memo is in question. If they don't they are not "in the know". If they do, it appears they agree. That would make them look like they lost. Disney knows what they will release tomorrow. Not so much for the union speak.
Unions certainly had involvement in pushing Disney to act on the parental rights bill. And unions are given notice of actions that will impact their members. Unions are not given insight into pending legal actions.

Is that what the mid levels in LBV are saying as they try to dig out on the ground?

Because you know the unions have almost zero practical say there.

They were never not going to not say something with this. It just lined up to put them in the crosshairs…from the idea it started in someone’s rear

I screamed for years that chapek was wrong to even be there and they needed to “streamline” him the hell outta there…before he was the staggs replacement…

But I can’t scream at him about this. This reality is the fault/Natural extension of societal stupidity that is a major deal…nothing to do with Disney really.

They do make themselves a ripe target - granted - but their business decisions really aren’t the concern of Tallahassee

That’s really not true. Had there not been an outcry from cast, unions, and some guests, the company was prepared to not make a public statement regarding the parental rights bill. Instead choosing to stay publicly silent while working solely behind the scenes.

I’m sure there is widespread remorse/regret in “the company” for the statement…

…but there is little legitimate conceivable way they weren’t gonna say something based on their workforce.
It just doesn’t scan.
