I think it's safe to say Disney would have absolutely no interest in Texas after this Florida issue.
Texas isn't any better.@Andrew C your travel time to WDW May get a lot shorter if this happens
Disney World in Texas? Houston-area judge attempts to lure company from Florida to Lone Star State
As Walt Disney World remains embattled over Gov. Ron DeSantis’ redistricting, a Texas county judge is hoping to lure the company away from Central Florida to the Houston area.www.yahoo.com
Just a little light hearted fun since this is a pretty serious topic
During the late 1990s and early 2000s, there seemed to be a ton of chatter about a Disney resort somewhere in the middle of the triangle formed by Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. I was convinced it was coming. It never materialized.@Andrew C your travel time to WDW May get a lot shorter if this happens

I'd say that being called various "phobe"s and "ist"s without merit also borders on slander.
You are preaching to the choir. I have an unofficial rule that I won’t go to Houston between May 1 and Oct 1 for work but I’ve had to break it several times. The only thing that saved me was staying at a hotel where I could get to the office through the tunnels so I didn’t need to step outside where I would instantly be coated in sweat.A summer in central TX makes Orlando at the same time feel like fall weather.

Texas is a solid red state but they are still pretty pro-business. Nothing close to this has happened there to my knowledge.Texas isn't any better.
Texas can't even handle cold weather ( ie Texas Power Grid outage in Feb 2021 ) which paralyzed the state. Lying Ted Cruz and his family even were caught trying to escape to Mexico to get away from it all.
I know about a 15 block radius in downtown Houston. I’ve been there, the ride from the airport and to NRG Stadium several times for the rodeo so I can’t really say I know the area well.During the late 1990s and early 2000s, there seemed to be a ton of chatter about a Disney resort somewhere in the middle of the triangle formed by Dallas, San Antonio and Houston. This "Judge" is really the county commissioner or executive (we just call them "judges" in Texas). Fort Bend County is the county immediately to the west of Harris County (which is where Houston is located).
4 PM in Houston, it's 100+ degrees every day from the beginning of June to the end of August. We had a Six Flags here for years (Astroworld) that was popular, that had a ton of outdoor components. And there are still Six Flags parks in San Antonio and Dallas. But I'd have to believe if they ever did build a park in this area, they'd have to have almost every aspect of the park able to be transversed indoors. And all of the queues would have to be entirely indoors. You are preaching to the choir. 4.2 Billion impact to business in a two week period to put on a performative show? Not better than Florida and that is a very low barTexas is a solid red state but they are still pretty pro-business. Nothing close to this has happened there to my knowledge.

I would assume that you take issue with being called a child groomer because it isn't true, and you consider it to be an affront on your character. Conservatives take issue with being called homophobic because, in virtually all cases, it isn't true and is an affront on our character.I can't imagine the mental gymnastics it would require to equate being called homophobic with labeling me as a child groomer because I might mention my husband to my students. Absolutely insane.
DeSantis cited the gondolas as why Disney needs more oversightBut will the gondolas have AC?
You don’t consider the use of long established slurs as meriting a negative label? How many racist slurs can I publicly use before it is acceptable for people to call me a racist?I would assume that you take issue with being called a child groomer because it isn't true, and you consider it to be assaulting to your character. Conservatives take issue with being called homophobic because, in virtually all cases, it isn't true and is assaulting to our character.
I hope you enjoyed my insane gymnastics routine.
Wait until he establishes a State Board of Ride Inspectors........DeSantis cited the gondolas as why Disney needs more oversight
Regardless of whether they identify as conservative or liberal, those who think that children should be shielded from hearing any sort of reference* to LGBTQI people or relationships are expressing discriminatory beliefs. Homophobia and transphobia are the terms applied to such discrimination.I would assume that you take issue with being called a child groomer because it isn't true, and you consider it to be an affront on your character. Apparently your light hearted joke turned into a bit of a Texas bashing party. Because of course it did. Lol. I don’t blame you though.@Andrew C your travel time to WDW May get a lot shorter if this happens

I still think S.C. is a good option.4 PM in Houston, it's 100+ degrees every day from the beginning of June to the end of August.
