Today's the last day of operations for the Red Car Trolley.

I actually thought it had already closed in January. I would have considered flying out for the last day so itā€™s good I didnā€™t know.

what a terrible year for Disney park history. Red Car Trolley, Muppets, and MK Riverboat will likely all close for good this year. :-/

Itā€™s definitely more personal. In DCAs case when it comes to the Bugs Land to AC ramifications not only were the attractions downgraded but so were the aesthetics and kinetic energy. Not one win or silver lining as of yet.
There has not been one single positive change to the park since 2016. Mission Breakout, Pixar Pier, Avenger's Campus, and San Fransokyo Square have all been either negative changes at worst or lateral changes at best. I'm glad I'm no longer emotionally invested in Disney parks it would be seriously depressing if I cared.

Agree for the most part although I do think we did get some positive changes aesthetically with Pixar Pier. Particularly when it comes to the boardwalk/ entrance and area around the bandstand. But as whole yes a small downgrade for the disjointed theme, red scream tunnels and Incredicoaster audio which probably outweigh any of the positive aesthetic upgrades.

The midway games are an improvement with custom Pixar themes and toys. And when it opened the Pixar orchestra was excellent live entertainment- but naturally they got cut.

Hyperion sitting empty is also quite depressing.

You mean the future home of the Doors coaster? I have the best (realistic/ feasible) plan for DCA that maximizes attractions and makes sense but of course they wonā€™t do it.

Orange = Santa Cecilia / Coco ride
Blue = Monstropolis / Monsters Inc ride
Purple = Doors Coaster
