Reality TV Makes me HAPPY!

Ok I was looking through my TV guide and Survivor starts THIS thursday the 7th!..

That makes me one happy lady..

Yes!! :sohappy: I've set the DVR already.

There's a guy in the competition from Fox River Grove, IL, which is only a few miles from me. He was interviewed in our local paper. I will have to root for him, no matter whether or not he turns out to be a tool.

Anyone catch Moment of Truth last night? Since the show gives the contestants the polygraph before filming, how did that woman agree to appear? She has certainly put her marriage out of its misery. Mom could not be any more disappointed in her. And, to top it all off, she wins NO money because her subconscious knows she's a miserable person. What a train wreck.

I saw that monday night..I guess she just wanted to get some things off her chest and felt that this was the only way to do it..

I was shocked at the questions and could not believe that some of them she looked like she could care less..

Also when the dad ran up to her after the secret from mom question...I would have slapped him right there..LOL

Maggie you watch Paradise Hotel right? Did I totally miss it this week. I thought it was on Monday night and I did not see it on my TV Guide thing. ????

Hi Katy...I watched paradise on monday..it was on..Nathan was asked to leave the hotel.
I do not think he fit in anyway and he is the one that passed away after the show aired..They had a "In Memory of Nathan" message after the show..

On Moment of Truth this woman was just very honest and it was not a good thing.

They even said before the show that they were not supposed to air it but they ended up doing it anyway and the host said he did not want it to run.

There were questions about if she loved someone else on her wedding day..YES!

Her ex came out and asked her a question if whether she would leave her husband for him and her sister stopped that on but the next was something like are you still in love with me and she said YES!

Has she has intimate relations with someone else since she has been married...and the answer was YES!!!!!!

Does she keep secrets for her father from her mother and she said YES!..Then her dad got up and hugged her..

It was crazy.

The last one she messed up on was..Do you think you are a good person..and she said that all that stuff was in the past and that she said she was a good person..the answer was FALSE!..LOL..So she lost $100,000

OMG! All those hard questions that will basically ruin her life and she messes up on the easiest one. How crazy! Thanks for the recap. I started watching the show when it first came out, but quit because they just drag it out too much for my tastes.

Yea, I tried to watch the moment of truth show one time, but my hubby absolutely refuses to watch it. All those people lying to their spouses just really makes him uncomfortable. If there is any question about infidelity he just freaks out and can't watch it.

I would watch it just because I'm so amazed that people would actually do this. Most of them don't even end up getting the money. They know they took the lie detector yet they still don't tell the truth or they tell such hideous things in front of so many people. It is really amazing from a psychological standpoint.
