I'm not about to sit around and wait for various trip reports, so I thought it might be fun to just get comments and/or pictures from the folks who did the WDWMagic cruise in one place.

If you were on the cruise, please let us landlubbers know what was fun, what was a hassle, what you liked best, how you liked the food, etc. PLEASE!?!?!?

I was on the cruise. Even though it wasn't my first time sailing (it was my 3rd), I had a blast! I loved getting to meet the others (before the cruise, I had only met Holly). I got to experience a few firsts, including having a verandah, a cabana at Castaway Cay, Palo dinner, and Palo brunch. Fun included meeting the characters (including a private meet with Minnie for the ladies), the shows onboard, and trivia. Food=yum! My favorite meal onboard, by far, was Palo brunch. Sooooo good! It will now be a must-do everytime I sail. Already counting down to my next cruise

I saw the "The '13 Unofficial WDWMagic Girls"having a great sail away with an impressive banner.
My daughter and I had a nice meet and great with a few of them at the Capt Gus cocktail get together. All of them beautiful and mostly sober.

I don't have another cruise until Sunday, Chuck.

I absolutely loved it. So many fun things to do. I did the Remy brunch with the champagne pairing - fantastic. And the mixology class was a hoot! Our bartender was wonderful.
Highly recommend the cabanas on Castaway Cay - worth every penny as it rained pretty hard early in the afternoon.
And I would never sail without a veranda.

Oh and you know what else was awesome? Fish extender gifts! There were so many great things! People took time to create the most lovely handmade gifts. Some of us just bought things and those were great too! I'm still eating candy in the mornings to tide me over until breakfast. :)

One Little Spark...
I really enjoyed myself. Everyone was so nice and I had three fabulous and funny roommates. As I said in another thread, I booked a dummy cruise and we are looking 7 day Eastern Caribbean cruises for next August. This would be in lieu of our annual WDW trip and I am more than OK with that. :)
Hrm...on the Fantasy, right? That's one of the weeks I'm looking at for next year. Since we did the W. Carribean this year, I don't want to repeat the same ports again (even though they do vary them up some...)

I do regret not doing a placeholder on the ship! Yeesh, 10% savings...gone. <sigh>

It was my first Disney cruise, and I had a blast! Not knocking the DCL at all, but much of the good time was attributable to the ladies of WDWMagic. ;)

The ship was stunning, I loved my aft verandah, and I think if (when) I go again, I will have to have that same room. I was glad I'd read @englanddg's trip report which prepared me for the engine vibration on the first night; it was pretty loud. Here's a few reasons why that didn't really matter, though:

Remy brunch with champagne was also a highlight. I liked the Golden Mickeys, too. :D

One of my very favorite parts of the trip came before we even embarked: the Stretch Hummer with luggage trailer.

I booked a placeholder as well, because there was talk of doing it again. I'm on board with that! (see what I did there? LOL) But I've already noticed that there's a 3-nighter over Valentine's Day, and just last night said to my husband, we could use that one, and then I'd book another placeholder...I think I'm hooked!

DCL is like "Hotel California" in that you "can disembark, but you can never leave" :)
