Oh, that's pretty cool. I did a version of it years ago in an Animal Kingdom thread. It's a shame they want to get rid of A Bug's Life, seemingly everywhere. It's a very underrated movie that fits way better than Zootopia in the Tree of Life. I suppose it maybe related to Kevin Spacey... in some way. I don't know.
I agree, Zootopia is more about people than animals. I assume the decision is purely profit based since Zootopia is popular, if it were Spacey related there’d be a lot of attractions we’d have lost already lol.

I don't remember it, but they used to have Beavertails in Epcot. It must have been during the years when I didn't visit. Between childhood and adulthood.

Cool I got a place near my house that is similar called Blink's. The regular stuff looks good like strawberries and chocolate. But it gets a bit weird if you put hard items like candy cane on it. Same goes for ice creams, sure a pretzel, but who wants to bite something really solid when your drinking. Seems like a choking hazard.

Hmmm… what if we brought those back, and tossed in Pandatails and Deadpooltails as extra items for IP tie-ins? Call it “BeaverTails’ Re-Tailer” as the name of the shop, keeping the tie in to the local brand but also showing that this is a special Disney place.

I like it, maybe stay animal related with it though. Like Wolverine, Panda and Sasquatch.

Yeah, the implication of a “Deadpooltail” is too grotesque for a Disney park, especially as something edible sold to guests.

Alright;

The World of Color (Monstropolis/Grand Avenue + Animation Courtyard)

The name is chosen because while it does acknowledge that MI is still in the spirit of Jim Henson’s work, the new name is not only broad enough to include both MI and Henson’s work but also evoke Walt’s own Wonderful World of Color, and also reflect something specific about the art of cinema, something Disney themselves pioneered; Color. While yes it’s primarily internal or original IP, outside licenses such as Crayola and Capcom could show up in some form.

Jim Henson’s Masterpiece: Muppet-Vision 3D (restored to it’s former glory with some extra elements from the DCA version); the exit area is now a tribute to Jim Henson’s life and work, including clips from the likes of The Dark Crystal, TMNT, etc.

Mike’s Ride-and-go-Seek (Clone of the Tokyo attraction plus some extra features, replaces PizzaRizzo). Exit is an exhibit about the life and legacy of Ralph Eggleston, complete with some of his color scripts.

Tylor and the Door Chase (A door coaster, just as what’s proposed) Exit gift shop is called MIFT Employee Store, selling things like color script prints. The entrance also discusses the history of Disney Television Animation.

Contrast Mountain: Named for the idea of color contrasts, this enclosed river raft ride features Figment and Dreamfinder returning to help find the color in the volcano and release it safely. Sponsored by Crayola. Exit gift shop is named “Pigments of Your Imagination”.

The Color Wheel (A slow Ferris wheel themed to… well, a color wheel, that doubles as a dining option as well. Images of characters are emblazoned onto the cars)

Muppet Labs Feat. Mega Man VR (Sponsored by Capcom) Translation of the “Rockman 11 VR” experience from Japan. Possible original experiences could be added later. There’s also other stuff to do, including a restaurant.

Capcom World (a sort of pavilion dedicated to Capcom’s history, with a meet and greet area and a shop at the end selling Capcom goods)

Streetmosphere: Flowers & Trees (Audio-animatronic trees come to life and play music)

There is also a Lego Store.

I don't know if it counts mainly because that it hasn't happened yet but let's be honest, who in this community wants the Magic Kingdom Frontierland to become what it's becoming? I don't love the Rivers of America but it's an icon in the Disney parks and it feels almost like treachery to remove it. Also, even though Frontierland is staying, almost every part of the land is gonna change too, we already had the re-themes to Country Bear and Splash Mountain, and Big Thunder is set to see a huge refurbishment soon.

1. Yeet the Cars land out of the Rivers of America and move it either behind Big Thunder or just place it in DHS. It's probably better for that park anyways because the Cars land could possibly bring some much needed flat rides to that park.

2. The current location of the Country Bear Jamboree would be home to a Muppets musical show, giving them a new attraction/home.

3. I know that Splash Mountain has some controversy because of it's source material, so what if we got rid of the ride entirely. Replace it with maybe a new version of the Western River Expediton, it could possibly be Muppets oriented, adding the iconic Muppets whackiness and humor to the land.

4. The Big Thunder refurbishment seems to be for the better, just update the bat and some outside scenes, freshen up the trains, add the explosion finale from Disneyland into their, and smoothen the track a little and you have a recipe for greatness.

5. Maybe a couple new restaurants, retail stores, and maybe even a new water play area (similar to the one found at Grizzly Gulch) could be added to just add that little bit more to the land.

Side note: Keeping the Rivers of America could lead to a couple new expansion plots and future lands, these could include a Frontierland expansion, maybe a Discovery Bay type land, a Winnie the Pooh mini-land, and possibly a Hercules/Greek mythology land.

6. With the new expansion plots, this could lead to the possibility of a new Magic Kingdom train. I think the train could use a couple extra train stations, maybe one at Villians land and the Discovery Bay area I proposed. Along with new diorama scenes, it's crazy to me that WDW doesn't have Primevil World, and maybe a Villains scene could be some nice added bonuses.

7. For the Frontierland expansion, I think a Country Bear mini-land could work nicely. The Country Bear Jamboree would be moved over here, and put back in it's original state. New quick service and retail stores would be added along with a Racing themed dark ride for the Country Bear Jamboree.

Mobile Suit Gundam F90: Last Grasp of the Titans

(Retheme and retrack of Men in Black Alien Attack)

Similar to how the F90 SNES game tackled the last remnants of Zeon, this theme park ride covers the last remnants of the Titans, now known as Neo-Oldsmobile as a perjorative name for their use of updated Mobile Weapons from the Titans (with some from Neo Zeon and the Sleeves also appropriated into their ranks), including Mass-produced versions of what were otherwise failed prototypes. Riders are, surprisingly, not placed into a Gundam, but rather in a Zaku-type unit known as a Geara Doga Kai; the ride being scaled as if the riders were themselves Mobile Suits; 1/12 the size of the real thing, while the vehicle itself represents a drop ship that deploys the units into battle. The scale is conveyed through the queue, where after the first part of it, you are “suited” into the Geara Doga with a set of monoeye-themed 3d glasses. The Gundam F90 itself appears as part of the ride’s story, appearing in animatronic form helping you fight off the last remnants of the Titans.

The ride has a similar speed to Alien Attack, with you cruising by scenes of enemy Mobile Weapons. These craft include the Marasai, Baund Doc, Ashimar, GM III, Galbaldy Beta, Gabthley, Bolinoak Sammahn, Capule, GM Quel, Guntank MK II, Gaplant, and Messala. The boss units encountered, however, are new; the first one being the Psyco Zeta Gundam, a massive new version of the Zeta Gundam. The second, however, is known as the Sazabi Monoceros, designed as a weapon against the Gundam Unicorn and a twisted reflection of it all the same. The ride’s light guns, uniquely, are more rifle-like, complete with feedback, and even have a “Smart Bomb” feature that can hit multiple targets at once.

Gunpla of the ride’s featured MS will also be available in the exit gift shop.

Pooh Corner Hotel + 100 Acre Wood

Winnie-the-pooh-disneyscreencaps.com-3707.jpg

Yes, a land entirely themed to the Pooh IP, featuring an integrated hotel to the side similar to how DCA has its hotels integrated. Pooh Corner hotel has a charming “arts-&-crafts arcadia” aesthetic, similar to Pooh’s own home (and those of the rest of the cast), with crudely written door signage, crudely-written Coca-Cola vessels (to match what Galaxy’s Edge does), cobblestone roads, charming topiaries, and much more. The hotel’s value is considered Moderate, compared to the other hotels, with the proximity to the park being the main gimmick, but that’s not to say there’s a lack of others; like an indoor pool, an arcade, and character dining.

- Movie Under the Stars : Similar to the Pixar Place hotel, Disney films are screened nightly. On top of that, the Pooh featurettes and TV show episodes are used as interstitial material between films.

Stanw42.jpg

- Stan and Heff’s Game Room “TRESSPASSERS WON’T” : An arcade with various games including crane games, fighters, etc. Themed to a little cabin, and you may notice that a lot of the Disney+ anime compromise the characters in the crane prize lineup. More excitingly, Heffalumps and Woozles can also be won from a strength test hammer game.
- Owl’s Bathtub Splash Pool : An enclosed pool area, contrasting the outdoors pools in the rest of the resort, allowing it to be open even in cold times. Themed to an old-timey cartoon bathtub, of course. There is also a waterslide.
- The Hunny Pot : A buffet-style restaurant complete with character dining. A sort of alternative to Goofy’s Kitchen.
- Chez Milne : A quick-service option specializing in British cuisine such as bangers & mash, roast beef, fish & chips, etc.
- Sheperd’s Gallery : A sort of museum/art gallery of both the original illustrations by E.H. Sheperd and concept art for the Disney films. (Including not just the two main ones but also things like Pooh’s Heffalump Movie)

The 100 Acre Wood area contains not only Pooh and the gift shop/candy shop, but also a selection of flat rides, serving as ODL’s designated flat ride area similar to Pixar Pier and the former “a bug’s land”.

Tigger Bounce : A “frog hopper” flat ride.
Pirate Piglet : A swinging ship ride.
Bumpin’ Beehive Boogie: A set of bumper cars.
Rabbit’s Wheelbarrow Whip: A “whip” flat ride.

Re-do: Muppets Courtyard

With the Muppets Courtyard as we know it being replaced by Monsters Inc, now seems like the time to pitch my version of the Muppet area that never came to be.

Starting at the corner of Sci-Fi and Star Tours, we have Rowlf's Tavern. While similar to the current Baseline Taphouse, the decor is distinctly more Muppet-y. Pictures of Rowlf with various Muppet Show guest stars adorn the walls, along with sheet music for some of the old standards. A piano sits in the corner with a sign reading that the pianist has "gone for a walk." The windows of neighboring shops along the former streets of America are also full of Muppet references. These include a poster for Manhattan Melodies, an ad for Ocean Breeze Soap, a copy of the Daily Chronicle, and even a bucket of Doc Hopper's French Fried Frog Legs.

Venturing further into the land, we see the familiar Kermit Balloon sitting atop the Muppet-Vision 3D theater. The show inside remains unchanged, as a tribute to Jim Henson, but the exterior of the theater is more colorful and teaming with life. In fact the whole land is! Just like in Shanghai's Zootopia, guests can look up and see Muppet penguins and chickens inhabiting the land's second story windows.

Instead of PizzeRizzo, guests are invited to dine in the Muppet Taste Labs. Taking both visual and culinary cues from Pym's test kitchen, guests can enjoy a variety of interesting treats of all different sizes. They may even be able to see Dr. Honeydew testing the shrink ray on Beaker in the kitchen while they order. Next door, guests can visit Muppet Mercantile (formerly its a wonderful shop) and pick out their favorite souvenirs or even create their own Muppet.

Outside of the Taste Labs, guests can take a spin on the Muppet Labs Flying Machines, a Dumbo-esque spinner that sits in the plot formerly occupied by the Stage One Company Store. Nearby, guests can also stop at the Børk Børk Førk food truck to try some of the Swedish Chef's (in)famous Swedish Meatballs (and naturally get a Muppet Sipper).

In the back of the land guests will no longer see Mama Melrose's, instead they will see the entrance to the first omnimover attraction at DHS, The Muppets Take Hollywood. Inspired by the cancelled Great Muppet Movie Ride, the Muppets will take guests on a whirlwind tour of their (barely) working studio. Featuring dozens of Muppet animatronics and elaborate sets, this attraction would fill a much needed void in the park's current attraction lineup.

Finally, I think that a suspended coaster in the back would still be a great addition to this land. So, The Great Gonzo's Stunt School will take the place of the future Monsters Inc. Door Coaster. Guests will be able to join Gonzo as he is launched from a cannon, out of the show building, through Camilla's chicken coop, and finally crashes on stage at the Muppet Theater.

This is great!!!

If we had to do the area as a mono-IP land instead of my “World of Color” concept with stuff like Figment, I’d go for this.
