Yeah, sure. But I don't think the popularity of the Tim Burton film has done much to raise demand for old-school Alice in Wonderland. If it has, it will have died out before any new Alice themed attraction could be built.

Not saying Alice would be bad. Just saying that the success of the Burton film doesn't really translate into the need for Alice attractions.

My point was that if there was a demand for AIW in FL, it could met with the hand-drawn movie and not the Burton version....

Oh heck yeah. 100% agree.

The primary reason the Burton film was a success was that it was lucky to be the only 3-D film released at a time when 3-D was in high demand. Couple that with a popular star and a family-friendly story, and Disney raked in the dough.

But it will be forgotten in a few years. There's no need to imortalize the thing in the form of a theme park attraction.
