Radiator springs ideas

And this is relevant how? :brick:

If Disney does a decent job with PH, the place is going to be packed. Whether or not the merch at your store is selling, the franchise has lots of fans. (Enough to support the continued production of the merch, the videos, books, toys, bed spreads and an online game).

Disney currently has 4 big franchises: Cars, Toy Story, Princesses and Fairies. (Pirates has dropped out of the big 4). Don't believe me? Go shopping for kid's bedding (or just about anything else) at Wal-Mart.

The continued (and unsupportable) anectodotal evidence about the sales at one Disney Store really don't hold up when you look at the big picture.

Disney Fairies = Big Business

Tink = Big Business

The unspoken rule is that hand drawn animation and Walt-era belong in Fantasyland. In other words, sorry Lightning McQueen.

I totally agree with that. As much as I love the Pixar films, they shouldn't even be mentioned in the same breath with fantasyland.

Tink = Big Business

What is the distinction in your mind?

Because Tink is the franchise. The other characters are just there to support her.

At the end of the day, the only thing that matters is that PH will be popular when it opens. Do you seriously doubt that it will be?

I am glad that I could start a war between you two but its a bit off topic.

Let me a address a few things.

I know this is an unpopular sentiment on this forum, but when will people stop belly-aching about Pixie Hollow?

I am not trying to belly ache about Pixie Hollow. I have two DD ages 3 and 6, so I know the power of Tinkerbell but does it need its own mini land. This is not a pixie trashing tread, its a brain storming (day dreaming) about Radiator Spring.

Problem is, Radiator Springs would clash terribly with the mideval/fairy tale look of Fantaseyland. Radiator Springs would work better as a part of Pixar Place at the studios.

Cars would not clash anymore than dumbos tent. I am not proposing that it be apart of the FL expansion rather a land in of itself. I cant figure out how but it would be coo to replace the cars on the speed way with your favorate Cars characters and incorperate it into the space. I think that if they raised the train station they could even put a ride building on the other side of the tracks and do a indoor dark ride.

I just thought it would be fun to dream about own own CARS land.
