Here is a photo of the one at the Magic Kingdom that I took the other week. It is hidden by the Celebrate Today banner as you enter, but you can still see it if you look up when under the banner at the entrance.

No, I think there is another one.

Are you perhaps thinking of the dedication plaque in Town Square?

"WALT DISNEY WORLD is a tribute to the philosophy and life of Walter Elias Disney... and to the talents, the dedication, and the loyalty of the entire Disney organization that made Walt Disney's dream come true.

May Walt Disney World bring Joy and Inspiration and New Knowledge to all who come to this happy place... Sheesh.:( You think they would clean it...

Get some Oxyclean...

They actually clean them on a fairly regular basis. But they're right out in the open, getting rained on, sun shining directly on it (it's even angled facing south)...
When I was in the MK last month, I saw a worker cleaning and polishing the large brass plaque by the Liberty Tree (the actual tree, not the restaurant). It looked awesome when I walked by later in the trip. But I wonder what it looks like now, a month later.
