Yep. It's called the Dagwood and unfortunately, the local Penn Station carries Pepsi Products.

Penn Station is considered "East Coast Style" subs and it's main entry (kinda funny coming from me) is the Philly Cheesesteak. Yum Yum. They also have those thick cut fries with vineagar.

Having been born and raised in New Orleans; I was blessed to have my grandmother's story of the Po-Boy. She would tell of how, during the Depression, her father would get paid on Fridays, they would walk to the corner store and for a nickel; get a po-boy, then split it between the four of them. The French bread is wider than typical hoagies; about wide enough to hold a hamburger pattie. Used to be that the ends of the hams, roast beef, and cheeses were used to make these sandwiches, and if you were poor; you were glad to have it.
My favorite po-boys are fried shrimp and oyster. A roast beef po-boy with Cajun Roast beef, and Swiss are good. If you want a cold sandwich here, we go to Subway. If you want a hot sandwich, we go to the other corners and get a po-boy.

OMG!! My friend Meg & I were watchin American Idol last night and that commercial came on (or maybe it was on another channel while I flipped during commercials) but anyways that thing is CREEPY! The mouth on it looks that that “BAT BOY” from the national inquire from like 5 years ago (anyone know what im talking about??:hammer: ). Anyways.. as far as it goes with what it is… who knows.. like you said it kinda looks like a hamster. Probably a cross breed of hamster, gerbil and bat boy. Lol… I live in PA and as far as I know there are no Quiznos around here (thank god by looking @ that commercial lol). :lol:
