Hey there, we are a Disney loving family out here in the Pacific Northwest. We managed to make it to Disneyland last year and had a wonderful time.

So, now the family wants to go to Walt Disney World way on the other side of the country... and that would be great.... but I have among the humblest of jobs at our local hospital here.... so... well... we are having to get creative...

So what we did was to make this really cool craft and we are starting to sell them. We even got a little website. We hope to sell enough of this product to earn our way to Disney World.

The question is: Can I tell you about our product here on this forum? Would that break any rules here? May I make a link to our website?

If it would be improper for me to make a link to our website or Facebook page, would anyone have ideas for us to get the word out.

Thank You

Well, I read Hakunamatata's link and.... it looks like....
I thought so.....

Anyway, we were thinking about visiting in late August. Saw that there is a big drop off in crowds then. What do you folks think of that as a time for the first big family visit?

The crowds do drop off, but the heat and humidity are just this side of intolerable. It's do-able, with touring early in the day and late at night, lots of water, and resting in the a/c in the afternoon. But it would be very low on my list of desirable times to visit WDW.

If your family has a high tolerance for heat and humidity, you may not mind it quite as much as I do. Personally, my favorite times to visit are early November and early-to-mid March. Lovely weather, and the crowds aren't bad.

If you are able February is one of the least crowded and is ideal tempurature wise. If August is the only time you are able to go to the parks in the morning and eat lunch there, but go back to your hotel or house and take a nap or go in the pool. Drink lots of water and don't rush through the parks, people watch in the shade or watch a parade in the shade and eat ice cream or something along those lines
hope i could help!
