Keep in mind I am a Walt Disney World fan, not necessarily a Disney Fanatic in and of itself. But suddenly I am hearing all about Princess Aurora. Is Princess Aurora the same as Sleeping Beauty? When did she become Princess Aurora, or is this a new movie I have not seen?

Princess Aurora is Sleeping Beauty and always has been Sleeping Beauty.

Her name is Princess Aurora at the beginning of the movie before she leaves the castle to hide in the cottage in the woods with the fairies. At that point they name her Briar Rose so that Malificent will not be able to find her.
Sleeping Beauty is just the name of the movie/original fairytale, but it is not her name.
