It's in World Celebration it fits the new direction of the area: the celebrate one and other. Arguably this is the area of the park it makes the most sense in
That is my entire point, FW what not built with "world celebration" in mind. It was built to focus purely on "technology advancements from American industry"

Walt never wanted his creations the be stuck in the past. Future World was becoming just that as Disney scrambled to find that new tech and bring on sponsors. I miss it too, but it was not sustainable.

Learning to adapt with time seems to be the message here. Disney is learning to bring in new tech, new concepts, new ideas, suggesting that acceptance can bring a better future world.

Future World doesn't exist anymore, get over it. The whole point of Epcot is to be constantly moving forward, and you couldn't get any more forward thinking than supporting basic human decency. World Celebration is absolutely the right place for this.

It looks fantastic and it is not a political statement. And it’s only up for a month so just avoid the area if you don’t like it. No reason to crap all over something that is going to bring a lot of people great joy.

It’s too bad Disney hasn’t gotten the point of moving forward though. Things seem backwards, even more so in EPCOT. Not really talking about the ”pride” rainbow, just the direction of Disney.

I think this could be a big reason why WDW may have low crowds as of late… My wife and I have talked about not going to Florida as we don’t want to give the state money right now… we probably still will because my parents live there, but it has convinced us to go to Disneyland next year for the 1st time next year

Edit to say I was referring to Desantis dictatorship not the post above mine

In the Parks
No
Oh no. The pink mickey face with large red mouth resembles a clown to my eyes.
Did they test this pattern out before creating it in full scale?
Yeah I kind of did a jump scare with that Mickey. But the flowers look great. My inner gardener loves it.

Wait the only recent law passed said that you can't do sexual shows in from of kids under 18. Jiggling in front of kids is not ok. There has been literally nothing anti LGBT that DeSantis has done. Unless you are trying to make the argument that LGBT events are inherently sexual and doing them with kids is fine?
Again, this is not the place to air your grievances. You are bordering on trolling now.

The drag law is extremely broad.

Mrs. Doubtfire the Musical is touring throughout Florida starting in March of next year. Are the precious little children going to be damaged by seeing am an in a dress? Will they even be allowed in the theatre? Who knows. The law is that broad and open to interpretation.
