In light of this new information, the prosection moves to dismiss all charges agains the defendant.

That's the funny thing about it.... it's NEW information that he never once brought up until now. If it were a minor detail, that would be one thing. But it's significant enough to sway some opinions on the whole issue, which makes me question it's authenticity. If it were me, that would be the one single thing that would bug me about the whole thing (i.e. "They've even charged my card and haven't issued a credit yet"), but the OP didn't even bring it up until asked about it? :hammer:

Especially since MAF has been (justifiably) reported twice for his/her inappropriate posts. That generally brings the Mods' attention to threads.

The same can be said for unsolicited snark......

Funny that you're just now mentioning that detail for the first time. Nowhere in your opening post did you say anything whatsoever about your card being charged. I would think that would be a pretty significant detail to leave out.

And no response to my second question?

Probably because it's not about the money and I'm not upset about the money. $15 out of the thousands that we spend at Disney each year isn't going to make or break me. At this point, I'm not even upset at Disney anymore. I'm more annoyed with some posters. I'm going to go home now and enjoy my family. I'll catch up tomorrow.

Yeah not sending an email was pretty careless on Disney's part.

I deal with other websites that create tshirts all the time, and whenever I post one for sale that violates a copyright, they email me right away to notify me that it will be taken down. To me the same thing should have happened here.

Not the same... YOU are using COPYRIGHTED material for YOUR OWN FINANCIAL GAIN... Disney already tells you on their site you cannot use certain words... If the OP didn't read it, how is it Disney's fault... D we really need 2, 3, or 4 reminders??? READ THE FINE PRINT!!!!! End of thread.. End of story...

That wasn't my question though. You stated that you suspect it isn't even a Disney run service. If that's the case, why be upset with them to begin with, and why title this thread, "Pretty upset at Disney right now"?

Your story keeps changing to fit what will make you appear in the right it seems.

OP wasn't complaining about the t-shirt. He's complaining about the fact that Disney didn't have the common courtesy to send an e-mail, saying that his order was cancelled. The order should never have been able to be completed in the first place.

Not Disney's responsibility to notify him.. He didn't follow their policy..

Then stay away??? TDO would be happy... You are probably one of those people who complains if Haunted Mansion is down cause, wow, it ruined your once in a life time vacation...

Again, let me repeat myself:

I understand the trademark issue and still think it is strange, but if an order is placed and the order is cancelled for whatever reason, the customer should be notified. Period, end of story.

It does not matter if the customer screwed up and ordered something incorrectly as I obviously did. To further elaborate: If you order a car at your dealer with X package and Y option and your dealer takes your deposit and places the order but GM will not build a car with X package and Y option do you think the dealer should notify you that it can't be done, or should they just cancel the order and never contact you? That is what occured here.

Again, no animosity over the trademark, just the fact that they should have notified me. I also suspect it is not Disney who runs that service. One of the reasons many here love Disney is because of their excellent customer service. They are held to a higher level, as they should be. In every other aspect of services they provide they communicate very well with their guests/customers, which is why this instance stands out and is odd.

But why should they be responsible for notifying you when you clearly did not follow their policies????

This is typical of today's society... I will do what I want, when I want, where I want, regardless of rules, policies, laws, procedures, and when I am stopped, I will blame everyone else for my failures...

You were wrong... End of story... Disney is not at fault.. You are... Disney is in no way responsible for emailing you letting you know your order was cancelled.. Should have read the policies...
