Do you know when they are looking at getting this ramp completed by? I can't imagine it will be finished by when they are aiming at having the garage open for in the fall, correct?
As I understand it the bridge is for the second parking structure.

Maybe the I4 ramps will also have a feeder ramp onto LBV heading north east to feed into the structure that's under construction.

This is for the garage that is under construction NOW, the west side garage, the marketplace garage is further north.

a north LBV ramp would be interesting, but I doubt they'd do that since the whole idea of doing this ramp is to decrease traffic on LBV not increase it.

and creating a ramp exiting onto the right side of the road would have people trying to merge from the complete right to the complete left for the left turn in a super short length of road which will be even more difficult once the number of lanes is nearly doubled.

According to this post, http://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/quick-read-usdot-letter-about-i-4-off-ramp.890490/, there is still some political back and forth going on over this project, so I don't believe the work referred to in this post is actually part of the ramp project.

I just thought somewhere I saw a post about the start of construction for the overpass above LBV, which theoretically they could go ahead and start building, just not connect it up to i-4 yet.

They obviously already have this part planned/ designed as otherwise work on the ramps into the garage would be at a standstill.

There's a massive (800+ page) document from August 2014 that has tons of studies/data/reports/diagrams about the new ramp and traffic patterns. Not sure if it's been posted before, but here are some examples:

And the link to the full .pdf (~56mb):

Huh, are they planning a little back door ramp directly to Team Disney? At least that would take a few cars off Buena Vista Dr, if it's completed.

I was about to call you dumber than dirt ;), but then I looked at the last drawing above, and saw what you were referring to. Looks like a possible future expansion maybe?

My bad, I cropped that image to focus on the part going into the garages... wasn't paying attention to that weird little road(?) there. I've included the full image below (you can also find it on page 266 of that huge .pdf). It doesn't appear that it's attached to the ramp at all, so perhaps it's just a service road of some kind to connect the two Team Disney lots, or for easier construction/maintenance access for the slip ramp.

This is the little doodad I was focused on.
I see now how it may not connect to anything but itself. I guess @GrumpyFan was right about me. Dumber than dirt.

Hope the consider a flyover for northbound I-4 to the new garage before it starts construction.

And a ramp to TD seems like a great way to cut down on traffic on LBV area roads.

Anyway, good to see all the peices of the puzzle being assembled. OBJ has great photos today of the progress.

a north bound isn't reallly needed, and would be a huge ramp,

i can't imagine how many years it would take to get something like that approved, considering its taken more than 18 months and 800 pages of studies for a tiny spur,

there shouldn't be any northbound traffic issues once LBV is reconfigured, as it seem they are trying to cut down on as many left turns out of Disney Springs as possible.
