confusion with guests not remembering the color for their row.
This has always been a problem even before the closures and I don't know why. Rode it 5 times already and 4/5 times guests forgets their color. First Order clearly tells you to not forget your color. When you're being rescued by the Resistance they also direct you to your color but somehow some people have no idea. Nervous, excited, overwhelmed, scared? Probably but still...

Maybe because you go 2+ min between learning the color and then having to recall it during which you watch a neat preshow which ends with a jaw dropping effect and a bunch of people yelling at you to hurry up. People remember numbers much better, they should change to that.

Another show to add to any tracker would be Jedi Training Academy. Am I correct in remembering that they were still running it post-Galaxy's Edge and it only stopped due to the pandemic?
Totally forgot about that! My oldest was in that show and he still remembers it 12 years later.

I'm going to ride Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway for the first time in August. I heard the preshow you watch a short film then walk through the screen. Is that still happening with covid?
I heard that the preshow did that. I think it was a rumor. ;)
Seriously, yeah, off for covid. I've only seen videos. But, it looks like the best effect of the whole ride.

MMRR is a world class preshow, it’s also the only part of the ride when you here the “hero/main” version of the rides song “Nothing Can Stop Us Now” which really hurts the whole ride as most people don’t even recognize it during the ride. I feel it’s right up there with HM’s preshow where it’s really part of the ride and the ride suffers for missing it.

Are we tracking all parks in this thread? If so MK Needs Trolley Dancers back! That might be easier to return first before MRFF. Either like the Dans on the Trolley now or the Regular Show. Maybe only on the Train Station Belcony for now?

I’m not personally tracking the streetmosphere.

We're not going back until the Trolley Show is back. Seriously, the streetmospherre is what makes WDW different than other parks.

I can't tell what they're doing there... Where is the "plane" that's used in that stunt? I would have expected it to be on that track. Maybe it's removable or hides in that nearby shed?

Hopefully this helps.
Blue circle is the hangar for the plane, it is not on a track until it reaches the red circle.
Red Circle is where the plane rotates, you can see the rear left wheel (Stage Left, House Right) lock into place during the show when The Heavy (German Mechanic) guides the plane in. The other two wheels then lock in a turn position. When activated the mechanism under the left rear wheel rotates the plane.
Yellow box is the trapdoor which said Heavy falls through during his gruesome end. You can see its in its open position in the photo.
Green is the gas line that ignites to form the fire wall that the actors jump over at the end.
Purple are the pyro launchers for the finale explosion.

Hard to tell 100% because of the photo but It looks like most of the coverings are removed from all the pyro fixtures which hopefully means they are being refurbished/clean. Hopefully the lights and audio are also being refurbished as well like over at Fantasmic.

Things that can not be seen in this photo which I hope they are fixing up as well are the cave drop which was absent the last time I saw the show in 2020 and the fake jeep that runs on a coaster like track.

There are so many great effects in this show and learning throughout the years how they hide them has been great! For instance the fire extinguishers after the car flip are for more than just adding to the "real filming" of the show, look closely and you'll see their true purpose. ;)

That does help. I'm really hoping this attraction comes back. It's a big crowd eater that DHS sorely needs. And, it's a lot of fun! It's a "don't miss" for our family on every visit.

Same! It's always a must do for me. Raiders of the Lost Ark is my favorite movie of all time, and the film that made me want to learn how movies are made and was a big reason why I went to film school. Seeing the stunts in the show play out is a thrill to watch every single time.
