Prayers, pixie dust and positive juju needed......

Hello All,
We planned/booked (many many moons ago) a 1st anniversary trip (2nd Disneymoon) and it is coming up soon. We have been through real estate h*ll and we were told that we would close on our new residence by 3/27.WRONG- we got a call 4 days before that & were told that the loan would take another THREE weeks to process! In the meantime, I have sold my current casa & we are living with a zillion packed boxes. AND we still don't have a firm closing date....

To add to the nightmare, DH has a new job title and is going through cruddy training, and I am dealing with my company being sold/and having a new boss.

All of that was bad enough, but my lovely sweet sister (a super Mom nearly my twin) brought her family down to visit Mom/Me at Easter- and she passed away from a brain aneurysm early Easter morning. I can't stop crying, and there is so much to do.

Normally I wouldn't ask this publicly but I feel like I need strong prayers for us to get moved in soon and be able to heal somewhat before the anniversary.
Sorry this is such a long post.
Hugs and chocolate,
Hulacat

Thanks everyone for your kind words- your support means a great deal to me. Hopefully we can be moved into our new house by the first day of our 2nd Disneymoon. I hope that sometime soon I can think of Lisa and smile. I have decided to release a purple balloon in her memory at WDW- that was her favorite color.
Thanks so very much!

a sister is like your other half and I can only imagine what your family is feeling. She will forever be your guardian angel and you feel her spirit always. As everyone has said our hearts go out to you and your family. As for your other issues I wish you luck they get resolved quickly. I think the purple balloon is very touching

I'm so sorry to hear all of that and I think it was entirely appropriate for you to seek public prayers!

So glad you shared this KCheatle, this is exactly what I was thinking. Always remember to trust in the Lord for He will never give you more than you can handle and He is always by your side.

Both of the sentiments above remind me of the Footprints thing,Im sure I wont remember it word for word but here goes: A man saw his life as footprints in the sand on a beach. During the hardest times in his life, he saw only one set of footprints. He asked the Lord' Why did you leave me?" The Lord replied, "my Child I love you and would never leave you, when you see the one set of footprints that is when I carried you!!" Marie

Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family...

If I may make a suggestion, though, about the balloon. Yesterday I went to a fundraiser for two colleagues who lost their 22 month old son in a tragic accident days before Hurricane Sandy last year. They have started a foundation to 'pay it forward' in their son's name. Instead of releasing that balloon, could you find a child to buy it for and make their day and create a little Disney magic? If you release it, the balloon will disappear from sight within seconds (and end up as an environmental hazard) but the smile you give will last for a lot longer....

Wonderful suggestion. Perhaps a little girl that reminds you of your sister when she was young!
