You can always carry one of the rechargeable packs that will charge your phone with. We have several and they work great and you don't have sit and wait for it.

My phone is charged at night and stays in my bag unless someone who separated from the group rings it. Even then it is pot luck wether it is getting answered. I can not fathom the mental image this thread evoked.

People sitting around WDW with laptops and phones plugged into all available outlets facebooking! YIKES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Why would you run down your batteries on your phone? Get your nose out of the phone and experience the park with your own eyes and ears. No internet is needed!
Personally, I run mine down using the lines app. Between adding times, and taking pictures, my phone battery doesn't last more than 6 or 7 hours and I spend longer than that in the parks at a time. I simply bought a second battery for mine.

I can not see why Disney should or how the could provide charging stations, imagine 10 people with laptops lined up at the plug.

The most annoying thing I found is the official Disney App will still not work for Canadians.
Was in the Magic Kingdom on WiFi (can not afford international data roaming) the Play store says sorry not available for your HTC ONE X

Now I'm not the type who walks around with my nose in my phone, but I do use it quite a bit. As Mukta mentioned, there are other reasons that drain a phone. I also update the wait apps, take quick pictures, post on forums here, take notes for trip reports, take pictures, send picture of souvenir ideas, etc.

I'm not the park goer who listens to music/watches movies/posts to Facebook/plays games/whatever else they do constantly on their phone.

I use my phone and then throw it back into my bag.

Oh, and I also use it to solve family disputes over Disney facts :)

Now that's a scary thought! I'm in no way suggesting they need to install charging stations. I only started this thread to swap tips on where to charge if needed! If I can charge my phone while eating because I read about it here, then fantastic! If not, then I'll head back to my room to recharge and nap.

The is issue is if you need charging ..... in time 15 or 20 people will as well

Not the direction I expected this direction to take, but so be it, lol.

That's a good point. I really hope technology catches up with better batteries or wireless charging before we end up with charging stations or lines for power outlets. I hadn't thought of the future in regards to powering electronics.
