Hey folks,

I'm trying to keep track of the PIN code offers Disney's been sending out for the last couple of weeks. If you've got one recently, I'd appreciate it if you could please post the details here.

Thanks!

Good information. Thanks very much, Mystic. If you don't mind me asking, what was the total amount you paid? I'm trying to figure out the percentage off rack rates that your deal was.

Len

Len, the percentage off rack rates was 40% so we paid $69 a night for the week we are at Pop (instead of the $115 a night it normally is for the summer season). We had planned to book a room only package at the 40% off rack rate but the CM told me that I was able to add tickets and dining to the room and make it a package.

how do i get these emails? i thought i was on every disney email listing haha.:veryconfu

I think it's completely random. I think for the one I got, one of the things they were looking for was if the person was Canadian as a lot of Canadians here on the boards got the same pin email as I did.

I received one on 10/16 for $49 value resort room-only and a 35% shopping discount. It was for the dates of 11/2-11/6 and 11/16-11/20 only. Unfortunately (?), we will be in WDW at Pop Century beginning 11/29 for 8 days. We'd have loved to have taken advantage of it, although most of our nights will be only $54. Still, we have 2 rooms, so it all adds up, and the shopping discount would have been nice.

We are in the ranks of no discount code.
We received a post card during the Summer of 2004, for an Autumn offer, don't remember what it was. That was it. We have been to Disney three times and order a vacation DVD every year. [??]
When we were at French Quarter in May, the bounceback offer was in our room for Sept and Oct, I believe.

Those that got those great values, do you ususally stay at a Disney Value Resort? I ask because those pin codes all say Value Resort.

I've only stayed at POP Century once and that was last year with a friend. My mom and I normally stay at the Wilderness Lodge. My pin code said 40% off a Value but at the bottom it said to check with the CM for deals on Moderates, Deluxes and Villas. I know someone posted on a thread about the specific code I got that they were able to apply the code to the Wilderness Lodge for December 2009.

I received a post card in the mail yesterday.

Shop on your Disney vacation with a Walt Disney World Merchandise Credit & get MORE for your money.

Now you can add extra shopping fun to look forward to on your upcoming vacation. For a limited time, you can purchase a $500 Walt Disney World Merchandise Credit for just $395 (other credit values available below). Your credit is valid at over 150 locations with no expiration date!

Since you've already booked your package, just call us to order your Merchandise Credit at 407-939-7735. Be ready with your PIN. But don't delay - you must make this purchase at least seven days before your arrival date.

You can also purchase a $600 credit for just $445 or a $1,000 credit for just $695.

Offer expires January 23, 2009.

The card can only be used at Disney owned shops throughout the "World" (which excludes the shops at Epcot in Japan, China and Morroco) and cannot be used for food or recreation (such as boat rentals).

The interesting part is I received a letter from WDW a few weeks ago asking if I would participate in an on-line survey about my vacation plans and the entire survey was about how much did I intend to spend on souvenirs.

We got this one via email. We had also gotten the email survey about our spending intentions on our Dec. trip. We said we were not going to spend a lot, so I think they were trying to get us to spend more.

We also got the 5 day/5 nights for $535 plus $500 gift card email. I booked it. Funny thing is, I have a junk email account that I use. We had already requested the free customized maps of the parks under my general email account, so when the next trip was coming up 8 months later, I decided to use the junk email address. Unfortunately, my ressies were switched over to that one, so all my Disney e-mail was going there. Now I know to check that one, so last week, upon arrival home from our most recent trip to the world, I checked it and there was the $535 email. I called and laughed when the guy said the name didn't match or the phone number - explained that it was my maiden name and an old phone number. I left the ressies under that email and will update it on my next call in to add the bed rails or the fridge.

Prior to this, I had never received an email PIN or even postcard. We did receive one earlier this year for one of the woman that have gone with us in the past, but has since passed away! Don't think Disney would allow me to call up and make ressies for the deceased - but it was a great deal (don't remember exactly now).
